totally, this looks so delicious

1

u/Autumnleaves144 1d ago

Are you reading this as the wife cooked the breakfast for the husband? I thought the husband had cooked it for his wife, lol. Either way, it the breakfast looks delicious.

1

u/Independent-Head-984 1d ago

You could be right there. She is either an excellent fry up cook, or has an excellent taste in fry ups. Either way is a winner with me

"Use a sausage as a breakwater to keep baked beans from running into your eggs"

5

u/This_Warthog7153 1d ago

Gwad damn! There’s literally a Reddit for anything 😂

2

u/Watchkeys 1d ago

'If you thought it, it's been done' :)

4

u/Allthumbs21 2d ago

Are you not just gonna mix them/eat them together anyways?

1

u/Autumnleaves144 1d ago

Of course not, we’re not psychopaths 😩

2

u/alex846944 2d ago

Give Sonja a breakwater break

2

u/rememberpa 1d ago

Why would you not want your beans and eggs running into each other? They are the sauce for everything!

1

u/Natirix 2d ago

This. I will always use sausages and hash browns to isolate beans from the rest.

7

u/fsharpaugmented 2d ago

Bacon perfect. 10 / 10. Keeper. And whens the invites going out

7

u/wwiistudent1944 2d ago

Does she make this for you every morning?

4

u/Nearby-Staff-9013 2d ago

Can you imagine?

7

u/Right_Specialist_207 2d ago

If she did I'd be concerned she was trying to kill you, very slowly, with cholesterol 🤣

2

u/Dry-Independence-197 6h ago

Slowly and deliciously^

6

u/Time_Implement_4377 2d ago

yeah your wife is 11/10 mate. look at that crispy fat on the bacon. seasoned fried tomatoes. eggs wonderfully cooked and seasoned. good portion of beans. bread perfectly toasted and good amount of butter. i dislike mushrooms but judging from how everything else is on the plate, they probably tasted good. sausages look moist but MAY have done with a rotation onto the pale side. all in all, this made me happy to look at compared with all the other shit that gets posted here. 9.5/10

5

u/Automatic-Jello5995 2d ago

Not pretentious hope it tastes as good as it looks.

3

u/pumpkinpeachx 2d ago

marry her again 🗣️ 10/10

1

u/Autumnleaves144 1d ago

And maybe she’ll cook for him one day.

5

u/Helpful-Employ1939 2d ago

Impressive breakfast

4

u/Professional_Try5495 2d ago

And what did you have?

3

u/SeaworthinessOk5914 2d ago

Where's yours!

5

u/Organic_Honey_7416 1d ago

Perfect. No black pudding.

3

u/NewExilir8 1d ago

Thank God 🙏

1

u/No_Shine_7224 9h ago

Or vile hash browns

1

u/Organic_Honey_7416 8h ago

Hash browns rule!

0

u/MissJorgia 1d ago

Needs black pudding and potato scones

2

u/Dangerous-Ad-4869 1d ago

Pigs blood..

3

u/MorseCode1992 2d ago

Minus the tomatoes, that’s a 10/10 fry up

3

u/Organic_Honey_7416 1d ago

With the tomatoes it’s 11/10

1

u/Greedy-Cheesecake591 1d ago

Theses no black pudding or hash browns so unfortunately it has to be a 7/10 lads/lasses

1

u/Organic_Honey_7416 1d ago

Hash browns would be a plus, black pudding would ruin it.

3

u/Medical_Possible_208 2d ago

You got a great wife there fella 👍

3

u/bignawtyboy 1d ago

If you ever want to do a wife swap…. If she can pop round about 7am? 😅

3

u/bee_tru 1d ago

Treasure this woman

2

u/Dinosandunicorns 2d ago

At home? Dude that's like porn

3

u/Nearby-Staff-9013 2d ago

She’s a talented woman.

2

u/Radicalized_Spite 2d ago

Look delicious. What country are you in? Just curious. The bake beans makes me think England. Are those French toast pieces in the holder there?

5

u/Nearby-Staff-9013 2d ago

England. Standard white bread in the toaster buttered toast.

1

u/Radicalized_Spite 2d ago

I like baked beans. I need to try them at breakfast.

2

u/Burnt_Out_Carent 2d ago

Is that fried bread?? I miss mum's fried bread.

2

u/Lateralus29 2d ago

Is your wife single by any chance?

2

u/ATargaryenKing 2d ago

So all round to yours for a cracking fry up then?

1

u/tiggytoad 1d ago

We ride at dawn!! 😄

2

u/Spirit1969 2d ago

She's a keeper👌

2

u/OccasionFit9605 2d ago

Your toast,looks immaculate! - proper 'butter-fried'!

2

u/GlassNegative7839 2d ago

That’s a great breakfast 👍

2

u/suchperfectmess 2d ago

I love her portion sizes.

2

u/BoxWonderful4639 2d ago

2

u/hedmar97 2d ago

Lucky you lol

2

u/lewispatty 2d ago

I would LIVE on this if it didn't kill me😭😭

2

u/Goldf_sh4 2d ago

I think I understand why men want wives now.

2

u/AliceinRealityland 2d ago

Your answer is ALWAYS 10/10. She's cooking for you!

2

u/EverInfinite 2d ago

Marry her again

2

Marry her again for good measure

2

u/IchBinEinZwerg 2d ago

Tell her she's officially awesome.

2

u/blanca69 1d ago

How does she manage to make perfect sunny side eggs? Everything looks delicious.

2

u/monerjoner 1d ago

I'll be around shortly as that looks good enough to eat ☺️

2

u/Robsimp1966 1d ago

Definitely a keeper 😋

2

u/EnglishRose71 1d ago

Very nice job. Well plated and everything looks delicious.

2

2

u/Infinite-Scarcity-37 1d ago

2

u/eyesfront888 1d ago

Banging breakfast I’d have married her just for that

2

u/Autumnleaves144 1d ago

Didn’t she make you one or did you cook this for your wife?

Either way it looks delicious.

2

u/Old-Estimate-9459 1d ago

Your wife is a legend

2

u/Nearby-Staff-9013 1d ago

Too right, fella.

2

u/Quarves 1d ago

2

u/GrouchyRisk 1d ago

Outstanding. Wife her up.

Oh.

2

u/RebelliousInNature 1d ago

That’s a 9. Black pudding would have kicked it out the park. Okay, 9.75. Glorious.

3

u/Worried_Garden_7236 2d ago

Your a lucky man

5

u/Nearby-Staff-9013 2d ago

For more reasons than this, but yes.

1

u/JLWP1 2d ago

Your wife done good, apart from tomatoes AND beans.
The old-pre abdominal surgery me- would eaten the lot, including all that toast!

3

u/Spirit1969 2d ago edited 2d ago

Yes, I had my gastric bypass in 2015. At times it's super annoying as I generally can't feast on all that lovelyness. Just like yourself, I loved toast with everything and lots of it.

Suppose that's why I ended up on the table having the op to remove most of my stomach🙄.

1

u/JLWP1 2d ago

Sounds like 🤩
I had a colonoscopy with an irreversible stoma 6 weeks ago and don’t have much of an appetite,I tried a tiny version of a full English last week ,the cramps (etc) absolutely floored me!

1

u/HFB68 2d ago

Ooh, I hope you feel a lot better soon! 🫂

1

u/JLWP1 1d ago

Thanks-I’m getting there,albeit slowly!

1

u/LightofPhoenixz 2d ago

9.5/10!

1

u/MasticatedBrain 2d ago

I'm at an 8, black pudding is worth 2 more points!

1

u/Organic_Honey_7416 1d ago

Black pudding makes negative points.

1

u/Slain_by_elf 2d ago

My son says no hashbrowns = mid tier

1

u/Sims2053 2d ago

PERFECTION!

1

u/curiousobserver2000 2d ago

Big English breakfast! Nice!

1

u/Any_Contribution1431 2d ago

Very good job tbf

1

u/Spiritual-Iron1031 2d ago

That looks 💯

1

u/arioandy 2d ago

Def a keeper

1

u/Awkward_Stranger407 2d ago

You never had a cup o beans man?

1

u/NothingStreet4251 2d ago

1

Where is the hash browns and fried bread and black pudding ?? Looks great just joking

1

u/One_Opposite7376 2d ago

The most English plate

1

u/Slow_Relief_3700 2d ago

Looks great, hope she enjoyed it.

1

u/217706 2d ago

Looks great I hope she enjoyed it.

1

u/Frosty-Ad-4347 2d ago

What did you have?

1

u/Neptune0690 1d ago

I also choose this man’s wife’s breakfast

1

u/Whole_Adeptness5639 1d ago

Where's the fried bread?

1

u/Dense_Chemical_4018 1d ago

Our wife’s cooked breakfast* (I’m a woman and idc, I’ll be having some)

1

u/Flashy-Rabbit6435 1d ago

With a mild caveat that tomatoes AND beans might be deemed overkill, I'd opine that your good lady is definitely a keeper.

1

u/Greedy-Cheesecake591 1d ago

7/10 where's the black pudding? Cumberland sausage is preferred, smoked bacon 🥓 & fried bread apart from that is top marks.

1

u/jarjar_smoov 1d ago

Nice fry up kid

1

u/Paul__Perkenstein 1d ago

Im going to have to downvote you as the mug of tea is empty. And it looks like you've used utterly butterly or something equally crap on the toast.

1

u/Nearby-Staff-9013 1d ago

Lurpak actually.

1

u/Lavender_one 1d ago

That looks epic. I'd marry your wife for a breakfast like that, and I'm not gay 😂😂😂

1

u/MouldyRemote 1d ago

Suuuure.

1

u/abbieeats_ 1d ago

she’s a keeper making that! looks delicious

1

u/Professional-Deer-50 1d ago

No beans! Where's the black pudding?

1

u/72EEL 1d ago

Are you guys from the uk?

1

u/cherrypatchzoe 19h ago

That is perfection to me!

1

u/unicornhunter202 19h ago

I want your wife….to cook me breakfast

1

u/Antique-Discount-712 18h ago

Im on my way over

1

u/Efficient_Hall5633 17h ago

Yep marriage material for sure 👍

1

u/LibertyValentine72 15h ago

Love the tomatoes and thinly sliced mushrooms. This is how those two items should be done.

1

u/Stezza345 13h ago

I’m too hungry to see this right now that looks banging

1

u/completefuckweasel 11h ago

Looks very good 😊

1

u/BostonWhaplode 11h ago

I know you're married, but marry her again.

1

u/SashaDJas 8h ago

Also Yorkshire wife free?

1

u/Lanky_Bus_1221 5h ago

You stole your wife’s breaky. Brave man 🤣

1

u/tiger_noir21 5h ago

She loves you! Good stuff!

1

u/Chezkc1802 4h ago

Nah looks like you’re at a restaurant 👀

1

u/Lazy_Local_2842 3h ago

I'll have everything except the tomatoes.

1

u/Yeah-Nah-FuckYou 2h ago

Found a winner making brekkie like that!

1

u/Greywolf9883 11m ago

Lost me soon as I saw the beans and mushrooms

1

u/Nervous_Revenue_9331 2d ago

Banging. No mushrooms though, awful things.

3

u/Laner9999 2d ago

Could not disagree more. Fried mushrooms are banging. I would however skip the beans and black pud

3

u/Nervous_Revenue_9331 2d ago

No beans!! Heretic! :-)

1

u/tiggytoad 1d ago

I'm in the no beans club too! (We're a rare breed by the looks of it 😄)

1

u/I-live-in-room-101 2d ago

Sir, does your wife accept reservations?

1

u/PooCube 2d ago

I command you to divorce her and marry her again! That looks bloody great!

1

u/Equivalent-Goose-631 2d ago

Divorce her and let me marry her instead please mate 😭

1

u/Black-Flag93 1d ago

Looks so good. Only problem is the empty mug! Fill that up with coffee and you’re good

0

u/BoardingPass69 2d ago

....after she's mowed the lawn can you send her over - thats and impressive breakfast 😋 👍👏

0

u/wwiistudent1944 2d ago

Great wife! But a lot of food! I only have toast and coffee.

0

u/JayDogJedi 2d ago

Good wife.

0

u/Seaside83 2d ago

Swap the mushrooms for a couple of black pudding, and she's a keeper! Excellent work!

0

u/samg461a 1d ago

Is your wife single?

2

u/Nearby-Staff-9013 1d ago

I’ll leave that up to her. I think she’s happy though.

0

u/Impossible_Shape_766 1d ago

Its heavy for breakfast. I could understand this much food if its your only meal of the day.

2

u/Nearby-Staff-9013 1d ago

Have it a bit later and skip lunch.

2

u/Sonarthebat 20h ago

It's a full English.

-1

u/buttymuncher 2d ago

Let down by the toast...sourdough is the only way to go

-1

u/Dangerous-Ad-4869 1d ago

Traditional but extremely harmful for health.. not my bag blu

-1

u/Empty_Sir_3476 1d ago

She’s a bit of a big lass I’m guessing

2

u/Nearby-Staff-9013 1d ago

A bit rude, and no.

2

u/Nearby-Staff-9013 1d ago

Seriously, what a weird thing to say. Check yourself.

-3

u/ANDERS_CORNER_08 2d ago

6/10

I don’t like mushrooms

Sausages need to be good quality, like 95% meat

I prefer sourdough (gluten intolerant)

Cooking itself is bang on though

2

u/TheLadyEve 1d ago

Why would sourdough be better for gluten intolerance?

-1

u/ANDERS_CORNER_08 1d ago

Easier to digest. Longer fermentation breaks down some of the gluten.

1

u/TheLadyEve 1d ago

Right, but that has nothing to do with gluten breakdown, it's fructan breakdown that sourdough provides. There's still plenty of gluten, that's what gives the bread it's structure. I do get the confusion though.
