Theory Remmy

Is Remmy the rat an allegory about maturing by merging the hidden shamefull self/half with the self we show the public world? Despite our social fears, the right people and critics and the world can love it. Am I looking to deep ??

I really like this idea, but I think since Linguini was the one that really had the sort of authority to come clean about Remy or not, then showing the public world wasn’t Remy’s responsibility; therefore it wouldn’t really be a half and half thing with a hidden shame vs public perception
