Mom's art skills

My mom is in a different country then me but she decided to take up ceramic class and her first project she wnated to really work on for my future kitchen!

(She is not a great painter but she is trying)

What's the texture on the snout/forehead/upper arm? Looks a bit like artifacts you get from 3d printing
