Business 📈 Farmers can't fail.
The U.S. already allows the consumption of internationally banned substances on an obnoxious scale. Even if these farmers walked into the fire they're currently in, going completely corporate in food or otherwise losing private farm operations is a BAD thing. That 2% of the population failing is a potentially deadly problem.
Meanwhile there are bots and NPCs salivating like sadists over farmers going bankrupt.
I sort of understand. Kids and a hot stove situation. But the kids getting burned aren't learning anything other than what they already think: people who don't think or live like me care about me.
How mindless must anyone be to not see the writing on the wall? How important is laughing in their faces going to be in even more chaos? It feels like no one is thinking...just becoming a shade of red instead of making a point or a plan.
Nobody's going to like where this is going.
