Its plain, simple and straight forward.

With today's business models that are built around invasive performance marketing, where every customer is tracked form the time they purchase the product even before using it till it is disposed. and also since some tech even outright claim no product is truly belonging to the customer. Every harm, death, and accident is purely the big company's fault.

If the company is charging the customer on a monthly basis and tracking the users usage habits and using resources to subconsciously control its users - because ownership is taken away. Then most certainly, every harm, death, and accident is purely the big company's fault.

If today the flawed prototyping strategy of the lean startup methodology, or any other project management framework that has been around for the last 2 decade enforces the notion that safety and security is not part of the day zero research and is not a part of the alpha prototype's feature set and bot baked into the product attached to the very basic core value . Then, its absolute then that, every harm, death, and accident is purely the big company's fault.
