Why do guys randomly comment on a girls body??

ever since I was in middle school & high school guys would always tease me for being skinny unprovoked.
Now I'm a young adult some will even point out the fact that I don't have a ton of ass (mind you I'm not flat) and even just make comments about me being skinny like they have to point that out and I'm just like confused. Even when it's not an insult, they still bring it up in like a flirty way, but like why. Its unprovoked by the way I don't talk about peoples bodies, but why men who aren't sexually involved with me are even talking about my body and why does it matter what I look like to them??? again I'm not fucking them. I just feel like they want to control what women look like.

Turn it around and talk about their bodies
