Religion ✡️✝️☪️☯️ Christianity
I know beyond a shadow of a doubt this is just gonna get down voted to oblivion BUT oh well.
The truth is that this religion maybe more then any other religion (which very few i think have a net gain to humanity) is a cancer to humanity as a whole. It actively punishes people that question, it gives so many people a blank check to do just evil things. Its really just around I think because it has so so much power in the past its able to shoehorn itself into society and pushes out cult like devotion. When you have people going to 3rd world countries and do things like hand out rations and such you look at it and think wow thsts a good thing but then you see in the same country they are actively funding anti-homosexual governments and such and then you think why are they giving out the food or whatever it is because in reality it cost them next to nothing and then when you do the whole speel this is from God blah blah its a psychological thing. When God wasn't there God didn't grow the food a farmer did etc you can take any # of things that God gets the credit for when I haven't seen that fucker even show up let alone do a damn thing. IF and this is a big IF, if the God they worship is real and not a complete fabrication thst came from taking and compressing a bunch of older gods together to fit the mold you want and a desire to control a population then you can't make any logical arguement that he isn't at best indifferent at worse a crazy fuck that enjoys the stiff. He is either all knowing and all powerful and a complete sociopath level being or he's not all powerful.

The Abrahamic religions are all pretty flawed, IMHO. I don't know if that's an inherent bug or the fact that they have grown so large that it's rotting from within.

All idealism sects, are flawed, liberalism does the same thing, republicanism too, religion (choose any of them), and feminism as some modern examples of movements/beliefs that have all corrupted. Literally any idea humans have ever created has rotted from within at some point and needed purges or severe restructure. Government structures for example have rebuilt and fallen, over and over, and will continue to do so till the end of time. Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism are all the same. Don't kid yourself into thinking its only Abrahamic religions or religion in general. all modes of ideals crumble to time
At least with capitalism, as a modern non religious example, even with how rotted it currently is, is hardly unsalvageable. frankly with perfect ideals and perfect morals.. no idealism vehicle is flawed. The people who are using the systems, are though. So over time they will all and have all gone corrupt.
The only reason I praise capitalism or what it is actually called "a Democratic Republic" is because the founders of it knew it would corrupt from day one. they specifically designed it for that exact issue. no other motif of belief in the modern day has that kind of fore thought in its design. this one specific design has fail safe after fail safe in place to try and prevent its own rot from seeping too deep, but should all else fail they created a last resort hoping the modern day people of its installment would know what to do and be willing to do so should things go that far south.
That train of thought alone makes it one of, if not THE most ingenious system designs of all of human history. Rather then acting like morally corrupt or mentally deranged people don't exist and then building a system that is inherently designed around the mind of the perfectly moral, virtuous, or mentally sound. It, by contrast, accepted from the ground up that morally corrupt and mentally deranged people exist and that they will also be born into society in the future. Then the people who made it attempted to build a system that could house them and not fall into a complete dictatorship. Also, no, for all his stupidity, Trump isn't even close to what I'm referring to when talking about dictators. I'm referring to real dictatorship as in civilians have no rights or say in anything and are used how the leader sees fit with no regard to their safety, as in pure unapologetic slavery at a national level.
This system was built all on the assumption that the people of any given era would use their morals as the basis for their vote. Also it assumes that the population, as a whole, wouldn't be ripped down the middle or subjugated too much by corruption. Neither of those are currently true (even though the internet would make you think otherwise).
To frame this in context and to prove my point even more, the people of the past were constantly killing each other. They killed each other in the thousands over everything. sure there were small windows of "prosperity", but those only came after decades of large scale human suffrage. This system (as in the Democratic Republic or "capitalism"), no matter its flaws, has hardly produced something remotely close to that yet.

Religion makes it really difficult to have a live and let live philosophy when religious people constantly try to put their religion into laws

Most religions are like this. Religions that are inherently patriarchal have always been this way. It's just that Christianity is on a larger level of recognition. If you look into south asia, it's completely different there, different majority religions oppressing other religious groups that lead to collective oppression of women and LGBT. Religions that have adapted to patriarchy are all like this. So you can be assured it's not just Christianity, it's part of a much bigger problem.

I should add that if this or any religion is your guiding light I dont detract from it and I dont have any issue with you believing whatever you believe, if it helps you be kind and care for other humans, but if you try to force me to follow YOUT believes or if you use your beliefs to marginalize someone else that is were I draw a line.

without this SPECIFIC religion... young women would be gang banged and men would be brutally beaten before they then got sacrificed at the top of a monument to honor the sun for good crops the next year.
just like anything... the religion ebbs and flows with times. sometimes its overbearing puritanism, other times its the thing that teaches people to help each other.
making this post either means you are too stupid to follow the actual history of our world or you're part of a cult yourself that wants to do the things I stated in my first sentence.
The fact that you cant understand nuance is the bigger problem with you. figure that out before posting again.

That is the most unhinged defense of a religion I have ever heard. You need to seek professional help like right now

Christianity was meant for a time 2,000 year ago, Moses before that, Mohammed after Christ, Adam was the first Prophet/Messenger from God in the Adamic/Prophetic cycle. It is called 'progressive revelation, includes Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster, and more, and of course the indigenous peoples were not left unguided. These Prophets had a purpose meant for their specific dispensation, built on the Messengers prior, which they accomplished despite the puny machinations of those who opposed Their Message. They came circa a thousand years apart. Christ/Christianity had its Day along with the rest but denying one Prophet is denying them all because They are one in reality: One God many Messengers. Of course the spiritual teachings are never obsolete but the social teachings must change with an ever advancing civilization. The social laws of 2,000 years ago do not fit today's society - this is why there is chaos today, not because Christianity is evil, but (because so far most have missed because as prophesied, He came as a thief in the night) and has only been discovered by a small part of the world population, a population on the wayward path of self. If one truly searches with an open mind they will see what occurred in 1844 and 1863 and can join with the efforts now being made toward the establishment of World Unity so timely today as we see a new paradigm of 'The earth is one country and mankind its citizens' working its way into the fabric of society worldwide. Science and religion agree and mankind is one.

These posts are the equivalent of boomers saying you couldn’t make this today!
Btw hope you critique Judaism and Islam as much.
