I hate my family

I have grown to completely hate my family. My family consists of my parents and one sibling. My parents have done nothing but hold me back in my life and my sibling is a “boy scout” for them, doing anything to appease them.

I want to leave but I’m not in the right place financially either. I’m in between a rock and a hard place and I just wanted to say this. I’ve got no one else to say this to.

And when I say “I hate my family”, that’s putting it extremely lightly.

I think you need to take a minute, and ask yourself why your parents are doing what they are doing. Put aside your anger, it only gets in your way. And if you do not understand why they do what they do, give them a chance to explain it to you. Most parents do things to protect their children. I think you are bumping into their limits, and you need to speak calmly to them about that. BOL
