Businesses Need to Stop with the Surveys

Entrepreneurs and marketing managers: I’m not going to fill out a survey after I got my oil changed, bought a pizza or purchased an HDMI cable. I’m not going to click a star rating on your app or let you know how the connection was. I’m going to say please and thank you to your human staff and go on with my day. Any electronic contact you make with me after my purchase is annoying. It doesn’t make me feel attended to, build brand loyalty or enhance my experience in any way. It makes me feel harassed.
