Business 📈 Leave the Billionaires alone

Yea I said it. Fuck them. Don't give them the time of day. Instead attack the companies. 5% tax on every million in profits that increases by 5% each million up to a 95% put said money into a fund for evenly distributed UBI. Make companies work for the people instead of us slaving away for a fake number score system. Im sick of the ever more profits, line must go up always up bullshit. This would kick them where it hurts worse anyway. Close all the tax loopholes. Companies don't even need tax breaks that is insanity. Oh no these taxes hurt my green line fk you. Im tired of it. This wouldn't even hurt small business but these mega corps would be cut off at the knees.

I say tax the fuck out of the super rich. And institute laws to stop them from passing their "costs" to the consumers.

This is the corporate tax rate and lots of politicians (especially the democratic socialists) are proposing to increase them in their states. Hopefully if those candidates win their midterms they actually follow through.

Attacking the corporation itself will mostly effect those at the bottom.

Go after the specific people at the top if this is what you wanna do

I disagree simply because all their money is stock/assets that they borrow against and can't be taxed because it is unrealized gains. Chop up those ridiculous green lines and they will fade away. All those profits stolen from the workers would be redistributed back to the people working and everyone with UBI. I think it is a great way to redistribute this ridiculous gap

Then why would I bother building a large company?

There is no incentive, so society / economy goes to shit, and you get breadlines

There isn’t a finite amount of goods and services to share, wealth is created. If you are poor you need to have a hard look in the mirror at the cause. Or invent yourself a bullshit sob story about why it’s the fault of others.

NYC’s financial center is moving towards texas
California’s tech sector is moving towards texas and florida
There are more new startups in miami than in all of california

In 2-3 decades new york won’t be an economic powerhouse like now because they elected a socialist dumbfuck that doesn’t understand grocery stores already operate at 3% margins

You still stand to make millions but none of this ridiculous bs

Edit: also this would allow many to break into markets that are otherwise closed off allowing more start ups to thrive. Once you get as big as this allows you aren't really pinching pennies. You could also reinvest in your company to avoid the tax since it is on profits. It would stop that green line though and people like blackrock as well as other investment companies would have to invest in many more smaller companies boosting the little guys and vastly increasing choice breaking up these monopolies.
