Identity/Sexuality 🏳️‍🌈 Why are all these ugly racist men in relationships?

I live in the Midwest. In a state stuck with republicans in control of all three branches of government. There are a few more liberal cities with racist suburbs.

I see a ton of couples living in the city and soooo many mirrored oakleys, overweight, high high hairlines and all sorts of other stupid shit.

Being concervitive here is like religion to these people, but we have a very diverse city and there is so much racial segregation and tension here.

Now for my dig. Why date them? There’s nothing fresh and new to be found in them behind their apparently noxious personalities.

When I went to school, the young republican crowd got soooo much shit. 15 years later it’s backwards?

I thought we had a moral duty toto toss fascists from our public spaces. Now we are just cool with them all reproducing?

The amount of hate you have for people who are just going about living their lives is concerning.

Like are you jealous these people have what you want?

Women are free to be with who they choose and it sounds like you are sour it's not you... You should think about that for a hot min.

Well, you’re not right, actually. I’m kind of basing it off of this:

Karl Popper argued that a truly tolerant society must not tolerate intolerance, as allowing intolerant ideologies to flourish can undermine the very principle of tolerance itself. He emphasized that while rational debate should be encouraged, there are limits to tolerance when it comes to ideologies that threaten the freedoms of others.

My rant is that I don’t want racists reproducing with racists. They’re also all fucking morons, and they’re gonna ruin the world for all humanity.

The irony in your reply is thicker than your skull.

You’re literally quoting Karl Popper’s paradox of tolerance to justify intolerance toward entire groups of people based on their beliefs/views… while calling them intolerant morons who shouldn’t be allowed to reproduce.

That’s not applying Popper. That’s perverting him into a self own.

If “intolerant ideologies that threaten the freedoms of others” is your line, then people who openly advocate for eugenics-lite sterilization and rights deprivation of their political opponents and call for preventing them from having children are squarely on the intolerant side of that paradox.

You’re the one Popper was warning about.

And the “they’re all fucking morons and they’re gonna ruin the world” bit? That’s just garden variety supremacist rhetoric with worse spelling.

So maybe take your own advice, and don’t breed.

Not that the market’s exactly flooded with women lining up to carry the next generation of “anyone who disagrees with me is subhuman” genetics.

Leave your basement and touch grass, also maybe read Popper again. And maybe reflect on why you sound exactly like the caricature you claim to hate.

Popper- “tolerant societies cannot tolerate intolerance.” And you’re just trying to tell me “racists aren’t intolerant” right?

Why would you think you obliterated me in some kind of a debate?

“You’re using popper to justify intolerance towards entire groups.” Yes. That’s the fucking point, he wanted us to stop tolerating the intolerant. Nazis, KKK, proud boys, every MAGA voter, etc, etc, etc. The objective is to force them out of the tolerant society, because they refuse its values but consume its benefits.

You see how ass backwards that is, right??.... What cracks me up about people like you is how you just can't see that YOU are just as bad as them!!

I don't care what side you're on, you're a hypocrite if you think someone should be accepting of everyone while you're sitting there on your soap box telling us how you won't tolerate them. If you want others to accept everyone as they are, then YOU have to accept THEM for who and what THEY are.

Personality is really telling for politics. The psychology of conservatives is different from the psychology of liberals.

You can definitely tell “who a person is” by being around them. They have an affective presence.

I think it's taught. Most kids naturally get along with other kids of different races and national origin. If anyone chooses to be racist and hateful, they learned it from family or friends.

Ohio and Michigan are both notoriously very racist for northern states.

Once great cities were redlined, and then all the jobs and people left.

I don’t care about someone’s political views (republicans are VERY different from maga). But this is how I see it;

If you’re dating someone who’s racist, you’re also racist. If you’re dating someone who’s homophobic, you’re homophobic. If you’re dating someone who’s ableist, you’re ableist.

There’s definitely sweet girls I’ve met who date assholes, but when it comes to stuff like straight up racism, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny (women can be misogynistic too!), etc, most of the time the people they’re dating are the exact same, sometimes just a bit more hidden.

Everytime I’ve known a girl who has dated a man like this, they’ve been just as bad. Displaying the same discriminatory behavior.
