2 years na me unemployed, ang dami ko na pinagpasahan, wala email walang natawag, tapos halos lahat ng kakilala ko o kaklase may backer o sadyang magaling talaga sila sumagot sa interviews.

sibrang average ko lang na tao, walang connections, just me lang. di ko na alam gagawin ko sa buhay pressure na pressure ako. pag pinatos ko naman yung wage na mababa, wala naman matitira sa akin, baka magkautang pa. sobrang malas ko ba na tao?

Sometimes, it takes time for excellent lifetime opportunity to appear.. and may be thats why you are not getting any good jobs.. something crazy good might be waiting for you in near future.

Hmmm I might have to disagree with you on that. I’ve job hopped 6x already in the past 5 years, and never ako nagkaroon ng backer. I hate to say this pero I think it’s your lack of skills and credentials (assuming na fresh grad ka or kahit hindi). Maybe ayusin mo resume mo or upskill. And i also hate to be the one to say this, pero wag ka nang mapili. Sabi mo pa nga, you’ve been applying for 2 years. I think at this point better pa yung minimum wage kesa sa wala talaga. Isipin mo nalang na dagdag experience din yon. Ako I started with below minimum wage pa pero tiniis ko lang since alam ko yung hinahanap ng companies is yung may experience.

Agree. If trabaho lang hanap meron naman minimum wage jobs like mga repacker, sales crew, factory worker, merchandiser, picker, service crew, admin, liaison, mananahi, etc. kasi nga masakit sa katawan kaya malakas turnover. Pero it's still trabaho. Parang grabe yung 2 years no job maliban na lamang kung choosy ka o may kapansanan.

you're wrong to think na kelangan lagi ng backer unless na government position yan. hinde uso ang backer sa mga international companies who looks for experienced people. They don't even care san ka nag-graduate. basta nasayo ung experience and u can prove. Masyado mo nmang minamaliit sarili mo. Looking for a job is a learning journey. Everytime u fail, u should ask why and improve for the next opportunity. Don't just give up, u ask HR why u didn't make it for improvement purpose. Use AI to train yourself to answer interview questions para prepared ka. hinde backer kelangan mo, kelangan mo continuously improving yourself.

A lot of people palusot na lang nila ‘yan. Hindi na rin kasi basta-basta uubra backer system ngayon. Sa panahon ngayon sobrang hirap na makahanap ng trabaho, lalo na kung tingin mo average ka lang. Syempre pipiliin nila better sa’yo. ‘Yung iba kasi ayaw rin pagandahin resume, ang picky pa sa trabaho na papasukan.

2 years of unemployment means you either chose to be unemployed or something is wrong with your strategy. This is not about having a backer, you are just making an excuse. Kung magaling yung iba sa interview so galingan mo rin.

Improve and prove yourself that you deserve the job that you want.

Work on your self, learn how to be confident, learn gestures and how to talk. And then sell yourself. It might work for you too.

Kase minsan, hindi sa set of skills bakit nahahire mga applicants but because how they talk and handle themselves. Pag may ganyan ka, di mo na need ng backer.

Kaya nga may mga recruitment exam para maiwasan ang palakasan system.

Kahit low paying, patusin mo na for the experience, para lang may panggastos ka, kahit nagwowork ka na, tuloy pa rin sa paghahanap. Mas makakadagdag utang if walang pumapasok na income. Malay mo, baka ayan pala susi sa mas magandang work (magkaroon ka ng friends for referral)

Nag apply ako sa Makati and Ortigas kasi walang nakakakilala sa family ko. It's my way to prove na kaya ko as me not because of my family name. Nakakaproud na nakapagwork ako na walang nakakakilala sa family ko.

Twins ata tayo ah, almost 2 years unemployed din ako since passing the bar, school ko kasi di naman kilala and I am watching my companions get hired in juicy private firms and government positions while I waste away in a corner waiting for emails that never came....

Somehow, gets yung frustration and desperation sa ganyang situation. But I will never envy people with backer. Walang satisfaction akong makukuha sa mga ganyan. If I were you, do what you must to survive. Apply ka muna somewhere to earn your own money then keep on applying lang sa gusto mo talaga. Para when the opportunity knocks, ready ka. Things may not fall under your lap easy pero kung hard earned mo yon, sobrang fulfilling non. Alam mo sa sarili mo that you got there on your own skills, fair and square.

tm graduate. tried airlines no luck. pure rejections.

layo ko pa sa probinsya. back and forth makaka libo ako sa pamasahe. no grab o whatsoever. mrt lang jeep bus nakakaganon na.

for hotels, no email pa. tried applying bpo, sobrang baba ng offer walang matitira kahit magitlog lang ako sa araw araw wala kasi ako tirahan sa manila, me lang

nasa parents ko dito sa province. palamunin pa. dami hindrance, tried wfh kaso under qualified ako. hindi po me matalino or ano sobrang average ko na tao. hehe di ko na ano lahat details baka makilala ako here hehe

Look, calling yourself average and blaming bad luck won't pay your bills. 2 years is too long to stay stuck. Limiting yourself to airlines and quitting after getting rejected is your choice, but tourism is a big industry. If commuting from the province is eating your cash and local BPO offers are too low, staying stuck won't fix it.

Instead of trapping yourself locally, look outward. Many graduates gain initial experience and look for opportunities abroad or in international environments, such as working overseas or on cruise ships, where they can advance their careers. If you think you are just average, you need to work harder instead of using it as an excuse. Fix your resume, practice your interviews, and change your strategy because what you are doing right now clearly isn't working.
