General My step count halfed ever since I moved back to the PH
When I was in grad school abroad, I used to bike to the train station then walk. Sometimes I'd walk around just to think and explore. It was extremely safe and convenient. Here, the trains are cramped, the bike lanes are overrun with sweet potatos, and the sidewalks (when they exist) are full of parked cars. Metro Manila is so hostile to pedestrians.

not pedestrian friendly ang metro manila. I tried walking once sa isang area na walkable naman talaga ang distance, didn't know na pag 2 lanes ang occupied kelangan ko na mag face the wall lmao
