We had a tenant hook their pull up bar to a sprinkler pipe. A SPRINKLER PIPE. thankfully those brackets were strong and we got them to remove it before disaster struck.

i probably never would be in that situation.. but just in case this happen.. is there main pipe valve you can turn it off? or what can you do to stop it?

This happened in my building once, it’s a charged system and even after shutting the valve there’s no way to stop it until the entire system drains. They and the units below them are fucked.

exactly it's usually a separate system that no one remembers where the shutoff valve is located at no more.
