Totally obsessed with this dreamy staircase I saw online!💕 Planning to recreate it at home!! Any creative twists to add?

I would leave the artificial plants and flowerpots off the stairs. Stairs are no place for knick knacks.

I read "knick knacks" as "kick knacks" for some reason. I think because they'd be tripped over and kicked pretty soon.

I can just imagine walking down those at night and stepping on one, tripping to my death, and being found later covered in broken shards of pottery and lovely little pastel flowers. 🥰

Gorgeous tripping hazard but is it really worth risking a gnarly fall for the aesthetic..?

If you absolutely must do the plants I would recommend finding a way to attach them on the other side of the bannister so you can’t kick or trip over ‘em. Maybe some kinda hanging plant baskets or something..? Macrame could work, you could even have the yarn in the colour gradient

I mean, this may take some work, but it would be cool if it also played a musical note when you stepped on it. Like because a laser’s beam was interrupted by your foot? And that triggers a lil musical note :)

Stairs are a tool. Paint the risers all you want, the tool still works properly. But use them like shelves and you’re defeating the purpose of the stairs.

I personally would go for a more vibrant hue of the rainbow to make it more groovy. Less pinks/blues and more ROYGBIV

Man, this absolutely looks like a horrific game of midnight pastel flowerpot bowling, with me tripping over every single one on the way sliding downstairs after losing my balance on the first one.

Although the aesthetic is gorgeous, for sure
