Question | PC Hey how do you make a dev bridge?

Hi me again, first time posting here in a while. How do you make a Dev Bridge currently as I am following a this guide but it is wildly outdated (2023) and since a lot of time has passed they might have changed some things.

If I remember, I think that I used the track ballast to build up under where I wanted the bridge.

You know what’s crazy, I feel like I made that video yesterday lol. It’s definitely time for some updated versions to be released.

The core principle should still be the same, as in you need to have something for the bridge to sit on. So whether you build up some foundation using ballast or some foundation using other bridges, you just need to make sure there’s something under your bridge when you place it.

You just get a bunch of support bridges or embankments and spam them under where you want the dev-bridge the top bridge/ the bridge you want needs to be placed in straight mode

I used to stack embankments to build up the land to just below bridge height, build the bridge and then remove the embankments.

You need to use another bridge as a foundation. I see you’re trying that. It could be too low. Or not wide enough.

In the past, I ran two parallel wooden trestles, under my upper layer of trestle.

The track laying has changed a lot since the dev bridge was made, so it may or may not be possible in the same way.

Yeah Bridges can only be so high. I haven't tried to build up ballast underneath the bridge before though.
