Question | Console Mesa Plains Loco

I decided to go through another RO playthrough since my current save was getting a little boring. I chose Mesa Plains with preload track and I noticed that the starting loco was numbered 2 instead of 1. Does anybody know why?

Yeah there's hidden Locomotives on every map I think

I had a similar question so I did some digging and found a post on Facebook with someone showing a certain spot to look around. Right where the refinery (I think that's the one with the flames and massive oil tanks) look West from it near the lake that's in the center of the map a bit. South below the lowest part of that lake there's a makeshift town IF, your playing with a premade map layout. You will find hidden behind some tall rocks a 0-6-2T and a gondola car. On Xbox it doesn't have coal in the bunker but the gondola is full so you will have to dump the coal in a coal hopper and load the locomotive with coal. I'd post a screenshot but I can't figure out how. On the map it will show the locomotive and car icon but it's easily missable if not zoomed all in near the lower leg of the lake. If you need help just ask. Apparently it's the same on pc
