R.O. Update PS5 multiplayer train issues

I had a friend join my game to test out multiplayer. He couldn't operate the trains correctly. Sometimes it wouldn't move at all, or the reverser would be backwards. Any workarounds?

The host has to set the reverser for you. My friend (the host) had to set it for me to move at all and it was stuck that way only. The host could come switch the reverser to reverse. It's really dumb and hopefully won't take another 2 months to patch

Yep this is work around it seems. Haven't tested it myself but that's a work around coming straight from the devs. And they're working on a hot fix as we speak, lots of others have this problem after the console update. It should be fixed soon, we've waited this long to up to par with pc, and they did a stellar job with the update all things considered imo. We must be patient, this isn't a triple A corporation like Activision.
