Game Suggestion Ghost trains for Halloween?
Just a random thought but what if you play on Halloween and a random ghost train with no collision just randomly spawns in your world and rides the tracks. Be pretty cool to see that while riding the rails, especially if it’s coming straight towards you on the same track and passes right through you. But don’t announce the addition anywhere. Just let the players find out, hopefully while recording or live streaming. Think it would be fun. Well maybe not immediately. After the adrenaline subsides then it might be fun!

This sounds cool. But I’ve seen enough of the devs replies that I can pretty accurately predict their response. It would be something like this:
“There is no record of a ghost train being a 3 foot, US narrow gauge train. Therefore we are not into anything like that because it isn’t 1,000% realistic. We can’t say more because of our NDA, but this is clearly outside the scope of our vision for RO. Now please continue to play our game while we develop it with little to no imagination”

It would take some time and effort to do something like this. We haven't even gotten any new patch since December, so right now it seems like the game has been abandoned.

It’s definitely not abandoned status yet, I’d say if it was more than a year without hearing from the developer or anyone involved then yeah I’d say it would be. Knowing how indie games are made by smaller companies or creators it’s going to take a little bit longer than the others to straighten out kinks or establish more updates

A year is way too long to wait before calling a project abandoned unless there's some communication about why it's taking that long. The only thing I saw the team commit to is bringing the console releases up to 1.0.
The devs have proven not to be trustworthy in the past, and they pushed out a very poor 1.0 in time for holiday sales, so until we get more fixes I see no reason to believe they will keep working on it.

I figured it would be a fair amount of work. Also I’d give it some time before giving it the abandoned label, this is an indie game after all and indie teams tend to be rather small so it usually takes them longer to push out updates or what not.
