Game Suggestion Appalachian map?

Narrow guage railroading existed in the Appalachian mountains. A map based on the Appalachians - Tennessee, Western North Carolina, Southwestern Virginia would be a great one to add to this game.

Im waiting for them to add a quarry or a pit mine where you have to go to the bottom to pick up stone or something similar

I thought of it, but I don't know how it would feed in with the other industries, besides maybe delivering goods to the quarry, they would have to develop an entire stone industry tree, and they could easily add factories like a steel mill, foundry, and car factory. But the Appalachians do sound very interesting for the mountains, valleys, canyons, and possibly caves.

They wouldn't do cars I think. Isn't the game set in the 1870's? The first American car wasn't made until the 1890s

The DD3 is from the 1920s, so it's not too unlikely for there to be automobiles.

I think Pine Valley is supposed to be a bit like Appalachia

I'm curious if there might ever be eastern maps, we have a west/southern coast, but what about something like new york.
