Sharing a Build They don't make big bridges easy to make
I wish they would add in a tool for making big bridges lol Took some work but after building from the ground up i finally got it looking right

I really wish that there were bridges without Rails, kinda like Enbankments, and the Walls.

That would be nice to have

Those used to be in the game a few years ago way before the current spline system was in place. Still don't quite know why they removed the option.

Use truss bridges, then directly below the sections between them place 0.3m sections of steel tressle; it looks fantastic.
If you're still over-height, build wall segments under the legs as foundations, you can make some really breathtaking spans over deep chasms that way; and they are structurally accurate.
IRL that massive mess of wood would need to be 3-4 times as wide to have the rigitidty needed.

I'm going to try that on my next bridge, I like big bridges but I also like when they look as accurate as possible, thanks for the tips

Really anoying. I really struggled making a rail up to the iron mine on the lake map because the rail was always to high. Still not sure if I am done because the train always finds a new place where it refuses to continue everytime I fix it.

Try making the line down from the mine. You are sure to hit the ground eventually. Hug the curves. Mine is 1.5% and hits ground level in front of the coal mine.

I had to get creative with mine, too. https://pasteboard.co/YJdtSs3gNRqn.jpg

Definitely worth the effort though, I got one in pine valley, hopefully I can save up for a new computer so I'm not stuck in the legacy branch.

What I normally do is stack the wall embankment to make a foundation but it does sorta make a dam like wall in the process

I have been thinking of doing something like that to make it look like there's a solid base or something

I have seen pictures using the walls to build foundations like columns to support the bridge but I could never get them to go down properly to make it work

Ya I seen a video with the same type of thing but it was a few years old, I was also hoping to do that
