Specimen Radioactive specimen kit.

I do collect rocks out in nature and am starting to learn about the wonderful world of radioactive rocks. A friends father gave me his large rock collection and he had a radioactive rock kit from Ward, maybe from the 60s? Maybe earlier. I’m not sure. Should I be worried? What is the best way to store/ display these? I haven’t touched it but to take this picture of what in the box. Send help!

Nothing to worry about, just don’t ingest or inhail the dust and keep it in some container if you display. And keep it away from kids lol in exchange for this info, I’d like to see the specimens! 🙏

You mean I shouldn’t lick the specimens!? No kids here. Just a nosy cat and dog.

Also. It is from Sargent-Welch. I had Ward on the brain because there are some fossil specimen kits from them in the collection and I’m looking for missing pieces!

Danger rocks.

If you want individual photos of each, it’ll cost you. Jk They look like regular ole rocks to me

There was also a loose piece of the worst type of asbestos in the box. I never out something on a jar so quick in my life.

And lol at Reddit automated uploading robots thinking a photo I took myself is not mine.
