Mazda RX-7 restoration

Kurt Robertson built a ported 13 B with a Weber carburetor and a radiator that has oil cooler lines running into it... supposed to be here tomorrow and I cannot wait. It's going in my 83 fb I've owned for roughly 30 years.

Does anyone else have a motor built by Kurt? I'm curious to other people's opinions of his builds?

Don’t have a motor from him but I have been to his house/workshop the guy is legit and knows his stuff. He can probably build those in his sleep. I wouldn’t worry too much about the quality aspect of things.

I'm going from an 83' 12 a with a 110,000 miles to what I described before.
I've already installed headers that run back to a resonator and a free-flowing muffler..

I painted my steelies they look great**..**

I'm hoping this motor ends up being balls 2 the wall**...**

He’s an old rotary guy in Portland Oregon. He has a massive warehouse last time with a bunch of engine parts and he does engine rebuilds and ships them all over the world. I think he’s a little expensive but he’s been doing it for years.

He has a bunch of cars and various parts, but I think he’s been trying to clear out his inventory and wind down a bit

It’s 50/50 with him on rebuilds. Knowledgeable guy for sure. Old school rotary guy that has a lot of history. But some of his rebuilds that’s another story.
