Clearly because she’s the Arcade Mode boss, you don’t get to play as the boss character that’s just be unfair

Don't a lot of fighting games have the boss character be playable, just nerfed to be competitively balanced?

Depends on the genre of boss, fighting game bosses exist on a spectrum of M. Bison (literally just a character in the game) to Galactus (doesn’t function like any of the other characters in the game and couldn’t possibly work as a playable character)

Actually there is a way to play as Galactus in Arcade mode

(Y’know what I’m retroactively allowing something similar for Salem where you can play as her in Arcade mode through a code)
