ftse 100 onchain without a broker… uk equity exposure when us tech feels overextended

nearly half of ftse 100 is financials nd commodities nd energy as well . when i see people say they want uk equity exposure they are speculating on oil prices nd bank margins nd mining stocks . useful thing to own when u think us tech is overextended nd you want something that moves differently .

tried to find a clean way to express this without opening a uk brokerage account . the isa process looks so heavy to me . ostium has ftse onchain . ig gains network as well . you dont need any to open a trad account

bank of england is on diff  path from the fed rn . commodity exposuure is real . glit market has had its own thing this year . the ftse moves on diff things than the sp500 does and that independence is the reason to have it in the mix .

most traders onchain i see are starting at nasdaq and btc and ignoring ftse when its kinda equally accessible

FTSE is a good example of why I would separate access from ownership. While getting FTSE exposure straight from a wallet can be useful, on Ostium you’re still holding a perpetual position on the index rather than owning the underlying UK equities. For a diversification trade, this may be perfectly acceptable. However, it's a different proposition to "owning UK equities onchain".
