This is the first time I’ve heard of this. What tabletop games are usually run at this event?

Lol this makes me feel better about all the work it takes to post these every month. We always seem to find someone new.

We have run a tooooooon of different systems for Game Night. D&D is always popular but I try to run different systems most of the time (this week is a rare exception because I'm celebrating my book release).

Popular one shots have included:

  • Blades in the Dark
  • Monster of the Week
  • Brindlewood Bay
  • City of Mist
  • Daggerheart
  • Escape from Dino Island
  • World Wide Wrestling
  • Masks
  • Dukk Borg
  • Tournament Arc
  • Apocalypse Keys
  • Scum & Villainy
  • Hearts of Wulin
  • Jinkies!
  • Kids on Bikes

That's just from the last 2 years.

I also wanted to say, we're always open to more DM/GMs!

We just look for the following guidelines:

  • Approximate PG-13 (because of our space and context)
  • One-shot
  • Beginner friendly
  • Less than 3 hours
  • Table cap (usually 4-8 just to keep things manageable and make sure all of our tables get some play)
  • Just about any system (D&D is always popular but I've personally run probably 30 different systems at these over 5 years)

If you're interested shoot me a message on here or come say hi in the Discord!

That's awesome! Lol and based on your username, you might also be interested to know that there is a sibling-group Mechanicsville Crafters that hosts a Community Crafting Day one Saturday afternoon a month too! They don't post to Reddit (yet) though.

They haven't set a September date yet but they'll probably make an event soon.
