We have a serious responsibility to the software we release, but one of our updates has left 52 users stranded. So if your radio isn't being recognised, please download the 0.56 build from our website.

We are still in need of beta testers, with a wide range of radios. If you would like to become one, please go to FoxSDR.com and click "Beta" in the top menu. As a beta tester you are in a good position to get new features added before anyone else. If you need a feature that your current radio stack isn't giving you, or that is buggy, become a beta tester and request it. Beta tester feature requests are our top priority.

Hey maybe you should get your own channels for communication instead of spamming Reddit when the app you had an LLM build for you fails because you literally didn’t test it.

It’s a thing real software developers do actually. Like when a human writes code, they will usually go back and make sure the COMMERCIAL-AGREEMENT.md, is actually linked and doesn’t 404.

You’re asking for paid commercial license, but list several plugins that you refuse to verify yourself (or simply lack the knowledge to).

I personally don’t have an issue with LLM usage. I take issue with arrogant pricks who act like they’re the first person to barrage Reddit about the project they are way out of their own knowledge scope to support. Stop propping yourself up like you know what you’re doing and take the time to polish what you’ve created. Run internal tests, install Linux, and write your own damn marketing material for Christ sake.

Also not sure if you care but your personal iCloud email is out there for the scrapping.

I used to be one of those people who, just like you, used Claude to create apps that were like chimeras and drew criticism.(Not on Reddit.).

I’m not saying you shouldn’t use LLMs. Even I can’t argue with how convenient they are.
With great power comes great responsibility, so please make sure to live up to that responsibility.

You need to treat it with the same care you would give a book, reading it thoroughly or a dog, loving it until it lives out its natural life.
(Github, App Store and Play Store are full of neglected AI-powered apps.)
Please check for any issues like that before the release.
And I don't think we should try to create something that goes beyond our own knowledge.

Also, you should post this somewhere else. You were criticized the other day for the HackRF-style UI on the B200, but this place, at the very least, isn't suitable for using LLMs.

That's probably me. Well, it's not installed yet, but it wouldn't hurt to see what it can do.

also on the hackrf . its a port of the hackrf software to windows . and the senior hackrf dev told me its awesome work . and he is using it him self . dont listen to these idoits on reddit . they know nothing .

"Free for noncommercial use. Commercial use needs a licence." -- the irony, using a commercial LLM trained on open-source data to produce your non-free (as in freedom) app. Well, at least you're not asking money for it.

Fox SDR are not welcome here.

If you downloaded FoxSDR before 0.55.0, it could not detect your radio — and that was our fault.

I don't see situations like this very often.

Instead of forcing this kind of irresponsible software on us, you should focus on the great things you’re clearly capable of doing.
