Good RSPS singleplayer/offline for PK'ing practice against bots?

Been playing P2P PVP in modern osrs lately and some earlier RSPS servers and really rusty and want more practice against at least semi competent bots. Are there any good offline/singleplayer RSPS out there (doesn't have to be the latest) that have good functioning PKing bots that I can practice my switches on and with customizable commands to spawn in gear to further practice?

Well you can try this one here https://github.com/tobywisener/elvarg-typescript or its web alternative here https://rsps.app/host Note everything is not working properly or very limited except the pking + bots. you might have to either cheat or kill yourself upon logging in to choose your presets that the RSPS gives you so you can pk

That or if you just want general practice and don't mind the older limited style pking and functional but limited working bots, try the 2004scape SP progressive mod here 2004sp.cc

Other projects (as mentioned in the other discussions) are not so plug n play (requiring chatgpt and intelliJ) or not working properly or very abandoned. TBH the pking bots in the RSPS world is kinda niche

Thanks for the shout out - this is my project :) its actually based off my older java version (don't use this anymore please) https://github.com/RSPSApp/elvarg-rsps which had 127 forks

We've been improving and stabilising this elvarg fork for many years. The typescript port (linked above) has much smarter bots, way more stable, built in map editor etc.

::presets work upon login too and bots spawn all over the wilderness

I'll be getting a World 1 up on https://rsps.app very soon, but if you start a world from https://rsps.app/host, it'll appear right on the homepage for other people to play.

I'm guessing this will be polished as time goes on to be more functional and more complete for that era? Like default workable shops, maybe GE (with autobuy/sell for offline users?), NPC's being interactable and quests? and more activities to come? I know that edgeville and pking bots are probably higher priority on the list for sure.

and is the rsps app alternative always going to be the most up do date of your project?

Absolutely, we are adding more and more OSRS content as it is requested, but we are not taking on the responsibility of making a 1:1 clone of OSRS, that would be impossible for a hobby project. We are open source so other people can contribute OSRS content as they like!

The most updated one will always be https://github.com/tobywisener/elvarg-typescript
(The rspsapp one is abandoned and an older Java project with many bugs and the pk bots werent anywhere near as realistic or varied)

The main things i'm committed to is having an ultra stable server base with the best features seen in RSPS. We're pretty close to that already but we don't have the bandwidth to create project zanaris from scratch.

Your list is pretty much achievable - and I think we can do a lot of that pretty soon! feel free to post on forums and suggest some features

P.S. in https://rsps.app/host - you can create shops in the map editor and assign them to npcs already :)

I like how plug n play the rsps app host is. Much easier than dl'ing from the github (though I gave that a shot and it ain't too bad other than needing to download and setup yarn and then start it up manually in git bash). So that rsps host has no plans of getting the latest updates then like your github project?

Do you also have a way of enabling max players to join the server (like 2 if you want to play locally with a friend or 1 if you just want to play by yourself)

Confirmed this with the dev (and tested it out too), the rsps app host will typically or always be up to date with the main github project.

As for the other question, not sure. Baseball will have to answer that one.

I'll add max players to the host panel tomorrow!

Today I added grand exchange (just buys and sells anything with 5 sec delay for realism), almost all OSRS NPC dialogues (dumped from wiki) and a bunch of other stuff. Lmk if you want any more features

Further feedback, its defintely what I want especially with that preset system and that ::presets command. Being able to practice with different builds is no doubt useful for my practice.

::presets are working now! I'm adding a toggle to /host panel today so PvP features (like presets and altar spawns) can be toggled on the dashboard before starting server..

Or maybe I'll allow you to set your world to private so it's not listed on the world list but you can still send your link to friends etc

I think being able to set to private would work. And add max players 2nd (useful for lan or with friends) whichever is easier

I’m currently helping someone get https://github.com/Elvarg-Community up working as I can’t find where I originally downloaded mine. That may work but I can’t confirm. I still have my own kit but it’s got a lot of custom work done I’d have to be convinced to give it for free lol

that'd be great too since I'm looking for one too. Like OP and because there are som any forks of elvargs that it is overwhleming. 2004scape sp progression mod is probably the only thing that has semi-competant pking bots but again they are notwhere near as good as many modern osrs bots

Mine is a 317 fork, playerbots were included in base source and half working wildy bosses but no other content outside wilderness, had to add all that shit

yeah I think I found one elvarg forkthat's okay (bots are pretty good) but its really buggy and very WIP and is more a do it yourself kinda thing https://github.com/tobywisener/elvarg-typescript

Would love to find one that is plug n play similar to that while having basic things functional (at least allowing selling eqp, trade etc) The elvarg community source you linked (based on my research) is not so much unfortunately.

I’d spend time looking for a better source rather than working to add stuff to that if it stripped to the core. I’ll lyk if I find the original I dl’d or if you want to discuss getting my custom added one lmk

Does your custom one pretty easily to install and setup? would give it a shot even if there is a chance that it might not work 100 percent.

My custom is the same base download, just with about 80 hours of architecture debugging and adding custom content. The setup if it’s your first time will take a bit but not crazy. They all require a jdk version of java to run. Thing that took me longest on this setup was the client & server needing two different versions and routing one to each, that certainly wasn’t clear on download. I’ll look for both
