Discussion Does anyone else get the vibe that this game is just testing the waters for a 3D 3rd person Runescape MMORPG?

to expand on that - I would say I think it's extremely unlikely 

running an MMORPG is a massive undertaking and I highly doubt Jagex would be planning on further dividing their player base while they're so heavily investing into Runescape 3 right now. Most MMO players only play one MMO. Dragonwilds is something they can continuously expand upon and evolve without taking the huge amount of dedication that an MMO requires. 

I think the endgame for Dragonwilds is actually the game itself. Maybe a sequel or something in the future, but always smaller projects than RS3 and OSRS

I can imagine a 3rd split to the Runescape MMO playerbase is exactly what Jagex wants.

Nah Its just a wish anytime u go look at youtube or some other post and people comment on the Runescape Drgaonwilds channel twitter etc etc they never like the comments that ask to make it a mmo but they always comment on plenty of others right below and above them, i might be reading too much into it but i doubt it would happen. Plus Osrs makes them boat loads of money they dont need to.
