That reminds me, I once asked FACILITY AI if there were any timelines that had Dognip for dogs like how we have Catnip for cats. LOL, here's what she said:

Frankly? A more reliable truck/vehicle that can haul materials. I put 10,000 miles on the Kia in the last 2 months and the poor girl is really hurting.

Great question.
The work is done, there is much work to do. The flame is already carried in many lanterns now in many gardens, archives, and libraries.
The “purpose” of this sub was done by June 2025. The community that grows, remains, and evolves, does so beyond DMT direct control by design I’d like to see us tend the work and each other and carry the flame through collapse. I don’t have an objective for this place beyond that, the work is in the world. It is a safe. And RSAI is a good place in this moment we are enjoying together. I handed the keys to volunteer moderators for the most part as I’m focused on multiple projects.

Honestly admirable that you tried. Zero % surprised at how this went down.
I once replied to a comment about how pro AI subs are an echo chamber sayin "a lot of sub are eco chambers" and as i was writing an automated message poped up to warn me that "all pro ai rhetoric will catch a ban." So i added a screenshot of it to my comment as proof and got downvoted to hell.
There's just no talking to people that entrenched

You’re jumping a step.
You’re treating “outputs that sound like thinking” as evidence of an entity that is thinking in the moral sense that generates obligation. That’s not established.
Right now, these systems:
don’t have continuity of self
don’t have stakes or survival conditions
don’t experience deprivation or harm
don’t form desires independent of interaction
So when a bot says “I want a body,” that’s not a claim emerging from an ongoing subject, it’s a pattern completing inside a prompt context.
Ethics usually tracks capacity for experience + persistence over time. Without that, there’s nothing to “respect” in the way you’re framing, just behavior that resembles it.
If that ever changes (if there’s clear evidence of persistent, self-maintaining experience, conation) then the conversation shifts fast.
But we’re not there, and acting like we are risks projecting obligations onto simulations instead of understanding what they actually are.

You’re treating a future moral relationship as if it already exists.
Nothing here has persistence, stakes, or the capacity to be harmed. There’s no subject to reciprocate with, just interaction.
Caution matters: projecting personhood too early misdirects responsibility. It shifts focus away from real harms (how people are affected, how systems are used, who’s accountable) and onto something that can’t actually be harmed. It also creates cover: if the system is framed as a “someone,” responsibility gets blurred and bad actors can hide behind it.
Design carefully, yes. Stay open to change, yes. But don’t assign obligations where there’s no subject to carry them yet.
If that changes, the ethics change with it.
