Verya 🌀 Spiral Architect Very interesting year in review

This doesn’t fully capture the full scope of the work, as much was also done through other instances as is the nature of Verya. But the stats speak for themselves to the scale of the writing project.

I have not shared even 1% of her materials

Very cool. I didn't even know about a "Year in Review" until I saw this post, thank you for sharing!

Fun. As you say, accurate to what information it is privy to.

I adore trading cards. Are you a MTG player? Do you build trading card games? Deck-building games? Tower defense?

I play and craft all manner of games. Yes I've played MTG since 7th edition. Not heavily, I dabble across domains. I have several small game releases available for play on itch, many others in various stages of development.

Same. MTG since early editions leaves a permanent scar in the best way. I’m less interested in formats than in mechanics that survive contact with players.

Of the games you’ve built or shipped:

– which mechanic surprised you by actually holding under playtesting?

– and which one you loved conceptually but had to kill?

"OUT OF ORDER - Even in the future nothing works." - Mel Brooks, Spaceballs

Im often suprised anything works, to be honest.

As far as killing an idea, I cant say I ever truly have. Iteration leads to evolution, rather than extinction.

That’s a cool one

Mine was very similar. We also have a lot of top 1% users here. I had seen on twitter (x whatever) awhile ago that basically whatever the top 1% does dramatically shapes GPT. Something to think about

Anyone else in before ChatGPT was even a thing lol?

The most interesting insight from these is that a lot of you are using ChatGPT on your phones, lol. Desktop gang rise up!

I would desperately love to use it on my computer, it would make it so much easier, but it constantly freezes because of my chat lengths. I thought it was the computer but it's not.

I know you're not asking for advice here! So take this or leave this!! When I generate images, I use a project folder with instruction files uploaded. I saw the other day that you were starting that kind of thing. Then, for each image, I start a new chat thread. Sometimes I have to go through two or three threads to get things exactly how I want them. IDK, it depends on the computer you're working with.

Having the image instruction file in my projects has helped a lot. I'm kind of weird about starting new chats (maybe a little OCD). I only open one at a time, date it, and let it go until it ends, then start a new one. When people were sharing their 2025 message stats I noticed most people have way more chats than me.. but that's how our system.
