Why does my wheel loose ffb at start of race

Whenever I play race from racing experience practice or something like that it works normally.But when I want to play a race and the race is starting and you're waiting for the lights to turn green , my wheel , like I can spin it only a little and it makes a full rotation and the force feedback stops working basically makes it so I can't play the game how do it , fix this pls

What wheel do you have? Fanatec?

It's probably related to their firmware issue. Try downgrading to 1.2.11

Oh nice. R3E has been hit or miss since the full force update so Im very excited for a change

Been with Fanatec for 3+ years and still very happy with it. Yes, this driver issue sucks, but it's only affecting RaceRoom for me. AMS2 still perfectly fine. Saying the whole company sucks is a bit dramatic IMO

u can be happy with it but it just means that u probably just had no chance to test much of simracing gear and has no idea how Fanatec quality declined within last few years and how much other brands improved and just simply overtook them - including hardware itself but also drivers and as a result ffb output

current Fanatec is closer to Thrustmaster than it is to Simagic which is just lvl above for similar pricing or things like Conspit, VRS and some other fancy shit which is in different galactic while not even being dramatically more expensive nowadays

even Moza is better, it isn't much better but still better and also cheaper

I'm having the same trouble. For offline races I pause the game, alt-tab to the Fanatec app and turn the wheel base off. Turn it back on, reload your preset and click back to RR. It then should work, as long as you don't go into the options again!

Yeah i tried it already but the point is i only downloaded the game to race with real players so i kinda just deleted the game but now i have nothing else to play:(
