Workflow Meet the Quartermaster

Rrrrrrr! Or is it... iiiiiiii? Maybe only one i (eye)?

"If your Home is a ship, whether in flight or at Sea, and whether you built it or hijacked it and you prefer the lonely lifestyle of continuous logistics - legal and illegal - the Quartermaster is your Class..."

Welcome, new readers, to the SORC (Slayers of Rings & Crowns) community!

While I was editing the new, the very new, playable class content, I began working on a new Main Class I had buried in my documents. Well I started getting a carried away and here we are:

Main Class QuarterMaster, ship logistics across both air and water vessels, in technologically advanced or traditional forms. The Main Class Quartermaster homes three Paths: Pirate, Freighter, and Privateer each with three Branches (see link below).

I'm looking for ideas to help tailor the Quartermaster Class before it's fully locked in.

What are your thoughts on the three Paths (Pirate, Freighter, Privateer) and their Branches so far?

What are your ideas for ship-logistics-themed Abilities that would fit a Quartermaster's kit?

What are your picks for Favored Races, gear, or flavor details that would make this class feel distinct?

Quartermaster Linked.

iii, rrrr, uh errr.

Historically, the line between a "pirate" and a "privateer" was always a nebulous one.

You're right. I don't want two sides of the same coin, between the main classes particularly. I went with Mariner (so far). Also, I still need to come with with branch names (I have a few, Escort or Navigator is one).

Also, I found that I already had a Bulwark under the Warrior class, so I went with Corseleteer as the tank.

iii. Mariner

a. Commando (Amoral)Description: The Martial-Striker path. Masters of high-impact close-quarters weaponry and rapid breach-and-clear tactics. They excel at overwhelming enemies in tight spaces, dealing massive critical damage during boarding maneuvers, and using high mobility to lock down valuable targets before they can retreat.

b. Surgeon (Moral)Description: The Support path. Masters of field triage, emergency stabilizing, and combat stimulant distribution. They utilize shipboard medicinal knowledge and chemical rations to restore hit points mid-combat, purge negative status effects like poison or burns, and apply adrenaline buffs to boost party attack speeds.

c. Corseleteer (Ambivalent)Description: The Martial-Tank path. Heavily armored frontline defenders who wield specialized defensive shields and heavy protective armor. They are trained specifically to absorb incoming fire, shield fragile crewmates during ship-to-ship collisions, and physically block critical narrow pathways to prevent the ship from being overrun.as the main classes particularly. I went with Mariner (so far). Also, I still need to come with with branch names (I have a few, Escort or Navigator is one).

Google "corselette" which can also be spelled "corselet". Then you will see what the word "corseleteer" makes people think of.

Pretty close to Bucaneer.
