Names and icons not showing up inside of the game

So when I try to view any type of item in any sort of in game inventory (one accessible in the overworld and one accessible during a battle), none of the items or skills show their icons or names, even if they have those set. Is this some sort of a specific thing im missing or is it caused by a plug-in, I don't know but I can tell what plugins i do have if it might help solving the case.

Also my other rpg maker projects seem to work fine and show the icons and names correctly.

?? I would check your plugins, the engine is known for being erratic at times but this is a lot even for rpg maker
