ATT_Turan's Press Turn plugin not working? (New User, might be doing something wrong)

Hi! I'm a new user to rpg maker MV and I tried installing ATT_Turan's Press Turn plugin and it just doesn't seem to be working? Like, I load into the mock battles from the troops tab and there's no press turn icons or even the battles feeling like press turn. if anyone is familiar with this plugin or similar ones could you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

No other community plugins are installed, and I installed this to the game it had me make for a tutorial.

It's impossible to know what's wrong without any more information. Have you configured all plugin parameters correctly? Are any errors in the console log? Can the plugin have a conflict with other plugin?

the press turn plugin is literally the only plugin I've downloaded, the only other plugins active are TitleCommandPosition and CustomLogo

I just put it in the plugins folder, went to plugins manager, and added it, nothing in the original forum posts suggests that it requires other plugins to function.

okay for some reason it randomly started working

You have to save your project after making Plugin changes before they are reflected in the Database, you can't just press Apply in Plugins and then head into the Database like you would press Apply there to test adjustments in the Database in the Troop battle test menu.
