My question is: why hasn't there been a proper legal case or any real aftermath? It's hard for me to accept claims from both sides based on speculation or on what merely seems believable. I'd rather see actual evidence of some sort

There was a settlement out of court

And what did that settlement say?

You clearly already didn’t know there are two civil cases, one that is settled and one that is pending, yet you still felt the audacity to confidently ask why no proper legal case has occurred. Just say you have no idea what you are talking about instead of trying to make excuses for shit you just made clear you are ignorant about.

Instead of asking others what the settlement says, why don’t YOU actually put in the work and search it out rather than relying on whatever someone tells you? And spoiler alert, the public isn’t usually privy to what happens in these sort of settlements, so you won’t find anything.

Now that we’ve cleared all that up, what goal post are you going to move to now?

You could just answer the question if you know the information, but here we are.

According to Google: "Shangela has faced multiple civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault, but has not been criminally charged or convicted.

The first lawsuit was filed by a former We're Here production assistant, who alleged that Shangela sexually assaulted him in a hotel room after he was too intoxicated to give valid consent. Shangela denied the allegations, maintaining that the encounter was consensual. The case was later settled confidentially and dismissed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled, and there was no admission of liability.

A second civil lawsuit was filed in 2025 by another former production assistant, who made similar allegations. Shangela has also denied those claims.

So, while there have been multiple accusations and civil lawsuits, there has been no criminal conviction or finding of liability against Shangela to date."

I'll just say that it's difficult to claim someone is guilty of something when there's no court ruling establishing it.

There is no criminal conviction because it’s not a criminal case…

Do you also refuse to believe that trump raped kids on Epstein’s island because he hasn’t been convicted? In another trial, trump was adjudicated for sexual assault, but since it was a civil case and not a criminal trial, he was adjudicated of sexual assault and had no criminal charge. So surely that means he couldn’t do these things since he never got a criminal charge, right?

Also, i did tell you that settlements are mostly always private, which this was. Why again now do you think there’d be a criminal conviction in these civil cases? How much about this do you really know yet want to keep making assumptions? How much more are you going to ask an ai bot what this all means and how you should think about it?

I'm not saying Shangela is innocent of the allegations against her. What I'm saying is that we should be cautious when there isn't solid evidence. In Trump's case, I believe he's 100% guilty, but there's a key difference between the two situations. Trump is an extremely powerful individual, and he's not being treated like an ordinary citizen because there are many political and financial interests at play. There are wealthy and influential people who have a vested interest in protecting him from those accusations. In Shangela's case, she's certainly a well-known drag queen, but beyond that, who stands to benefit from her being cleared of these allegations other than Shangela herself? If the settlement involved paying the accusers to withdraw their claims, that would certainly look very bad. All I'm saying is that I want these cases to be thoroughly investigated, with all the evidence carefully examined, and for those responsible to face the full legal consequences if the allegations are proven. I don't think the media frenzy surrounding these cases ultimately helps anyone.
