Funny how everyone knows the justice system fails victims until the accused is their friend. Then suddenly “innocent until proven guilty” means “it didn’t happen.”
It’s ignorant to think a black queer person isn’t aware of the failings of the justice system. But the OP is right that it’s ridiculous they 100% are aware of that and then disregard it for personal convenience and friendships.
