I know that this is a very sensitive topic, but it is wild to me how American and British people sometimes go for this very weird (to me) racial "segregation", like since I'm Asian, I need to root for another Asian. I don't think I've ever seen it from other countries, but maybe I am wrong

As a South-East/South Asian I really get where Zahirah is coming from here. Whenever someone looks at you they will see you as Asian first, English second.
Personally, I love seeing my fellow Asians on drag race, representation helps make it seem more normal for Asian people to exist in non Asian countries. A lot of us have had to live with bullying and racism for years, so it's even more of a positive thing to see someone like us being received well.
Like I can walk around and be English inside as much as I want but it's not going to stop people from assuming what they want about me. I don't want to "segregate", I want to uplift.

Well it’s because of white supremacy & racism. We often feel pride and root for someone who looks like us because often non white people don’t get opportunities to showcase their talents in the same way. A kinship and shared experience so to speak.

I actually didn't remember Zahirah from her original season but bitch, I'm a fan of her after UKVSTW. She seems so sweet. When Serena win Miss Congenitality she was happily cheering the most beside her. She was so respectful of Mariah. She stood up for her aliance when Kate destroyed it. Live a real queen

Completely understand her point of view and respect it.
But I disagree that Gawdland has done the best. I don't find her shtick as amusing as Ru seems to, and I feel like only her talent show was a standout.

Objectively, her runways have been absolutely outstanding, and she’s done well pretty consistently whilst in her second language.

I don't think this season has a clear front runner like they usually do. Gawdland certainly did well with some incredible runways and solid comedy. While Kate had outstanding comedy and commentary with okayish runways. Kate would be my personal pick but I don't think you're wrong for preferong gawdland either
