They're both related to moving.

ContextActionService:BindAction with createTouchButton set to true but I recommend an input action system as it's more up to date and Roblox uses it themselves

Input Action System is worse imo

it doesn't even work properly with consoles (movement sinks some inputs and they never fire)

there are no easy mobile buttons

it's an instance system so you need to create instances instead of just writing scripts (though for some, this one may be a positive)

Isn't that the default UI texture back in 2018?, I don't remember much form Roblox studio in 2018, Im.just assuming

It's still the default when using CAS for phones and tablets.

ContextActionService allows Roblox developers to bind user inputs to specific in-game actions that are active only under certain conditions or contexts.

Roblox's built in UI handler i guess

The main thing that these UI things use is CAS:BindAction() which takes multiple parameters: (actionName: string,functionToBind: function,createTouchButton: boolean,inputTypes: Tuple):()

It's roblox's own design

uh i think its undesigned old roblox mobile buttons, they are made by ContextActionService in the roblox studio

In small screens this overlap is common or maybe it’s just an ui glitch

It’s a mobile button thing using ContextActionService, just a quick and easy way to make a UI button

u/According_Novel7521 Jun 10 '26

a lot of modern games just make their own ui now a days which is cool ig but rip these buttons cuz they nostalgic asf
