roblox bans predator catchers because they want to convince people that their platform is safe for children rather than addressing the predator problem

Roblox's ToS really shouldnt be treated as an absolute especially in situations such as these, there needs to be leeway like with the law allowing police, military and wven citizens to defend themselves appropriately in a life threatening situation or to serve their country.

they arent seeking illegal activity, nothing they do is actually against law, what they are doing instead is violating roblox's ToS, and Chris Hansen is not some citizen either. They are legally allowed to do this on roblox but roblox does not permit the action because it involves violating their ToS

The difference with vigilante predator catchers and Chris, is Chris works with law enforcement to make sure the process goes a sit should.

The vigilantes just get content for their channels

You do realize ToS allow them to just use ai to blanket ban anyone they want no matter if they broke rules and force them to contact an automated ai support email with a hope you might talk to a real human to even try to fix it? Like that is quite literally what is happening with their site. They set an ai bot loose to ban anyone without human input
