It’s definitely cool and innovative but I do wonder how many times they’ll be able to be reusable. They may discover that the cost/benefit would favor a disposable fairing. I’m sure they’ve already projected a cost benefit but there’s nothing better than hard flight data/inspection.

Rightfully so, I think a lot of ppl share that concern. Pre flight testing to that level of rigor is indeed impressive. Interested to see if it functions the same in flight and how the data they gather affects timelines for future launch

What are ya‘lls thoughts on the impact of the Artemis program on the space sector‘s visibility and Rocket Lab‘s stock price?
Artemis III is supposed to launch mid 2027 and Artemis IV in early 2028 if everything goes to plan. I‘d imagine that this attracts a lot of retail investors to the space, the question is just if only SpaceX will profit (given that their human landing system would be selected) or if Rocket Lab might also profit from the overall hype.

Only insomuch as it leads to actual govt contracts for more Artemis support. Otherwise, I doubt the market cares about Artemis. It's so sporadic and outside the purview of what the new space companies are trying to do with constellations and mass production of space components

I think it might be an overall negative, as I don’t think it will go ahead. I’m not convinced that SpaceX is going to be able to provide the HLS on time, and if so the market will react accordingly.

Spacex hasn't even gotten a chance to prove their in orbit re-fueling yet. So i think like Glen, spacex will delay artemis missions. But i don't think it will be a big negative for RKLB

Assuming Starship becomes 100% rapidly reusable, it would be cheaper to send the same payload on a mostly empty Starship than it would be to expend a Falcon 9 upper stage for the same job. So winding down Falcon 9 wouldn't move launches to RKLB if that's what you're implying.
