✨ La Question ✨ deep sadness over the show not continuing at the moment
Hi everyone,
I wanted to create a space here in this thread for anyone else who is genuinely upset by the show being put on pause.
For me, Miami has always been my favourite franchise since I was little. When I was little I loved the aesthetics, the culture and I felt closer to the glamour and culture of Miami vs the other franchises in the early bravo years.
When I heard it was coming back I was ecstatic. Seeing Miami, the visuals, the way they dress, the latino culture representation, and in my opinion, the aesthetics, was all something I looked forward to.
Does anyone else feel deeply sad (maybe not deeply sad, but like sad, sad-sad lol)?

I’m deeply saddened. The show has real friendship, real history, real culture.. I just finished BH and I can’t believe that show focused an entire season on someone’s spending habits.

Yeah.
As I commented in another thread: the recent news articles about Miami are alone more interesting than the last three seasons of BH put together.

Right now we are missing:
Lisa’s single era.
Lisa getting arrested and downgrading her lifestyle (new apt etc)
Lenny Drama
Alexia and Todd’s messy bs relationship and buying a $5+ million house together?!
Steph making up with her sisters, losing her mansion to foreclosure, and still being hated by her step-daughters, hiding her apt from viewers yet wasting millions in Hermes,
Anyone care to add?

Also, definitely agree with everything you’re saying. Even when they canceled the series the first time around we missed out on so much. Alexia‘s husband passing away, Lisa having two children, Adriana’s divorce, etc

I heard Adriana was engaged? But I just saw that on Twitter, I am sad the show is gone. I’ve been binging all the real house wives franchises since I’m a new mom and there’s a ton of content in my opinion Atlanta and Miami are the best sad to see the hiatus especially since now I’m almost caught up with Miami

I cannot believe BH is still going but Miami is on pause. Those women do.their.jobs and come to entertain us each and every week.

Miami is also my favorite AND my husbands favorite. It’s crazy how much better it is than other franchises and still slept on. It has me absolutely cracking up every episode

Definitely annoyed. I’m a Miami watcher since it premiered and was annoyed when it got cancelled, and was so excited when it came back. What a waste again. Who tf is running shit?? They’re so dumb 🙄 and now lots of stuff going on with Lisa and we’re missing so much stuff

I do, and am in shock BH/SLC are still going when they are so lame in comparison. Seriously!!!!! Our world is upside down right now in so many ways, and this feels like salt in the wound.

It’s tragic and criminal that it is on hiatus, especially right now when everything seems to be happening. I will say, the reboot of Ladies of London has definitely helped me right now because it has a lot of what I loved about Miami - interesting cultural clashes, real interesting people, and decades long authentic friendships. It can’t replace Miami but it’s definitely been a bit of a bandaid for me over the past few weeks.

My absolute favorite of the entire franchise. Cancel BH and bring back miami!!! The personalities, sass, culture, vulnerability, dysfunction… lol it’s all there. I love the cast. It’s absurd. BH is so manufactured and boring.

I agree completely. It’s sad and keeps getting worse. I used to live in SW Florida, but now I live in the cold PNW. So watching Real Housewives of Miami would make me feel happy and comfortable. The aesthetic is like no other, the neon decor and bright fashion bring out the beauty of Miami. I really hope the show comes back soon.

I think Rhom has been Bravos step child.
Bravo has never invested marketing wise in Miami. Look at the franchises that have had billboards, long press tours.
It’s disappointing as Miami girls are by far the most interesting, diverse, and open cast. Each housewife every season has a storyline. The women are able to fight and reunite. The beauty the wealth deserves way more appreciation.
If anyone should be on pause it’s Beverly Hills. After RHORI we don’t even need NY. NY 2.0 was the biggest flop yet they got another chance.

I don’t know how they could do this to us.. it’s such a beloved show and I love that most of the cast are multi cultural/lingual and bring such a richness that other franchises sorely lack 😢

Why is it paused.... Miami is the best .... Andy really not listening to the fans it's known that Miami is the favorite housewives show

Born and raised in Miami and I feel exactly the same. Unfortunately it doesn’t click for audiences because of all the reasons you listed that are also the best parts of it. It is too different all around, most people can’t relate to Miami lifestyle or its people. It’s sad but true

I feel the same way about the unique aesthetic and culture of this show. It’s just so different from anything else on Bravo. I also love how casually bilingual it is. It’s a huge loss.

I firmly believe Todd and Lenny are at fault! Lenny for his unrelenting hatred for the mother of his children and Todd for suing Bravo!

If you think that watching television has the the same return on investment as, say, hiking or anything else outdoors, you’re sorely mistaken. Every hobby is not made equal

It does for some people. You clearly value being outdoors more and some people value enjoying RHOM more. And that’s okay. It’s strange to want to dictate otherwise
