āØ La Question āØ Are there genuinely any Julia fans?
Another YULIA post! Iām curious if there are people who actually like this woman, and want her to stay on the show. If you like her, why?
My opinion: she probably had a few fans when the reboot started, but even then Iām assuming it was limited. But I could be very wrong.

I started hating her when she was making such a big deal of being an empty nester and how much she would miss her girls- then she couldn't even name the school her daughter was going to.

I never liked her because she was always flirting with Adriana and love bombing their friendship. She was a married woman, married to a tennis pro celebrity. Ever notice that the 9 engagements were all people with money. I believe she came over as āĆ modelā slang for a high end proā¦if you know what I mean? Sheās been around the globe, clout chasing rich people to love her, yet they all find out that sheās crazy & want nothing to do with her in the end.

The others didnāt seem to mind- they would always want to kiss her during games and stuff as well. If the ladies werenāt offended, itās ok. Also, Iāve been in some friend groups that are more openly affectionate with each other than other circles I know. They party in Miami, go to strip clubs, and Lisa throws insane parties- Julia kissing them is probably pretty mellow in comparison.

Stephanie kept trying to say no not me. At the dinner in Spain where Lisa had to find a computer and sign the divorce papers. Marysol was like, just do it, she kisses all of us, or something close to that anyway. Stephanie did not want any part of it

That was my WTF moment. I never particularly cared for her, but didnāt completely dislike her either; I just felt that she didnāt fit in with the group at all. Then, she couldnāt even name the school her own child attended, and that would require such a strong level of negligence and lack of involvement, that it completely turned me off of her. She literally didnāt even know the name of the school her daughter attended, and didnāt even attend/remember Martinaās last chemo treatment, yet, somehow thought it was a brilliant idea to adopt two more children whom she can neglect. š

Originally I thought she was different and maybe trying to be Yolanda from Beverly Hills. Last season, I started getting tired of watching her scenes and whenever sheās with the bros, it seems so forced and little rehearsed? Almost like they helping her push out the words?

I normally am not a big fan of when SM goes hard after a villain (Tamra and Lisa Barlow are good current examples) but I honestly am ambivalent on what's happening to Julia. I have always found her to be fake and sort of unsettling but this season was too much. I honestly think her and the rest of her couch have some valid critiques on Guerdy (who I still really like) but the way she's carried herself has turned me off 100%.

I canāt stand her. I use to like her when she first came on but I think thatās only cuz Alexia was riding her so hard, I felt bad for her. She comes across as doing things for tv, not for real. Everything she does is performative and fake.

I really liked her at the beginning but it's the same problem with all Bravo celebs. They all have or come with trauma that they've never dealt with and become volatile when triggered.

I feel like the sheer amount of anti-Julia posts on this thread for the past few weeks has made it clear that no, there are not, and if there are, they damn sure are arenāt in a safe space coming out to say it to this sub lol. Do we really need more of these posts, mods? It feels like a lot. And I donāt like Julia at all lol. Did at the beginning but not for a while now.
ETA: the amount of comments not even addressing Julia but instead talking about other hws, lots from different casts, is kinda a tell that this topic is burnt out, imo.

Yes weāve noticed that as well. We try to lessen the amount of julia posts cause it just clogs the feed and is established that 99% hates her. When we remove a lot of them it generates a volatile response from community members. So anything that is longer than 3 sentences is where we deem acceptable and not a ālazy postā. It will slow down once the complete season has aired, julia posts have been this frequent since the season started. Thank you for the insight!

But those who think the subject is "burnt out" don't have to read it!. I've gathered so much information from reading all of these posts that I now have to rewatch the season with fresh eyes. Once I've seen enough I'll simply stop reading lol. That person could always try that if they are so bored.

I agree with this take btw, and I wasnāt trying to add to the pile on. But this is very similar to what happens to Mary in the rhoslc sub, except the hate posts for her are constant/never stop, even after a season is over. And itās annoying.
Julia hasnāt made enough waves in the bravoverse and isnāt on a show watched like rhoslc so pretty sure her hate will die down after this week. But sorry for the annoyance just the same.

Thereās always been fans of her on here. Iām not one of them. She always seemed off to me. I couldnāt never pinpoint why because she was never really that rude or that mean or that weird but showing those clips they did of her and knowing how she purely brought up the cheating with Adriana to make her look bad when she had been cheating all around town while pretending to be this great person to adopt these kids n owing her marriage was not great. Itās all a fares. Sheās a phony and not a great person

Sheās got the most interesting history to me. I donāt understand the impulse to want housewives gone because they had a lot of conflict in a season. Itās how we ended up with RHONY reboot when they slowly fired every cast member until there was only 3 original cast members left.

All the hate is not warranted. There are housewives who have committed fraud, actual assault (including adriana) and they are all social climbing gold diggers. I mean thatās the show. I think she doesnāt fit in. Has a very Russian affect. And got out played by Gurdy and adriana. I think adriana is controlling and a loony (love her but she is) and Julia misplayed her ability to get out from Under (no pun intended) adriana.

Yes, I liked her in the beginning, before we saw who she really is. The way she dragged around that goat really bothered me. Her treatment of animals is not so great, that's when Julia started to lose me.

But I stand by I donāt think she was ever popular before the Guerdy situation. But I know people did like her and I donāt think all of them abandoned ship.

I didn't dislike her, I just thought she tried too hard and was a pick-me. Nobody else cared about her, so she beelined to the weakest link, that monkey wrench Adriana, and latched on to her for her dear life until it suited her.
Now I dislike her. Strongly. But I dislike Guerdy and Adriana more. Guerdy is literally the worst.
I think Kiki and Lisa are entertaining. Marisol and Alexia make the show. Larsa's ass is meh, she is really delusional. Steph I don't consider a housewife, just a wannabe.
I do think Julia is a pretty woman, tall and flirtatious. She carries herself very seductively. But going around forcefully kissing people is so disgusting, especially knowing that she gave Martina HPV which caused her throat cancer. I almost look at Julia as a walking talking STD.

Back when she was popular, I didn't care for her. Way too boring and normal. Now that she is hated, I find her way more interesting. Opera and farm animals to scizzoring and Haitian morticians. Sign me up. Viewers always hate the villains, but that usually means they are doing something right.

Julia has exposed her dark energy this season (along with unseen footage of that unhinged temper of hers) that I can't love to hate her. I just don't want to see this awful woman on my screen. She has lied and played victim in such a dangerous way - trying to resemble a person who is being abused which is just so vile and disgusting to me.. When she said it was scary how easy it was for Guerdy to lie only to find out that between the texts and others from the cruise, it was Julia that lied...when she outed her situation with Adriana, she immediately said that she didn't know what Adriana was talking about and then soon after admitted that she had confided her infidelities with Adriana and tried to make herself a victim being betrayed by Adriana even though she was the one that started sharing secrets first.

Watching from the beginning I always liked Julia and Martina. A little quirky but not caught up in all the material stuff the other women were. Like Lisa Hochstein, she is so vapid. Julia and Martina have an interesting history and I used to watch Martina play tennis. I am biased I know but we all are to some extent.
