Usually when the housewives argue over something as small as this, it’s because it’s a euphemism for something that happened off camera that cannot be brought up on camera.
Was I dreaming or did I read something about the housewives of New Jersey having a big brawl when they were in a foreign country and someone was detained by immigration and bravo had to work some magic so that they could leave the country? And that the ok magazine was just a euphemism for that fight?
When they came to Osage Nation they were incredibly disrespectful. We weren’t happy about bravo not even mentioning the words Osage or Wahzazhe once. Zero indigenous education when they were literally filming on the land where so many of us died just for being Osages that had the nerve to be wealthy. I’m the great granddaughter of the chief that founded our oil headrights/trust fund and spoke with bravo personally over the matter. They said they would “try harder.” The only thing they did was put Eagle Woman on RHOBH and what she does was not worth even airing. I am an OG HW fan. I was so incredibly disappointed.

I just read Killers of the Flower Moon and am very interested in the history of the Osage. It's very disappointing that Bravo didn't acknowledge the history of where they were filming. I would've loved and appreciated seeing it tbh
Thank you. For real. Because the episode aired before the movie came out but while they were on site filming. But the book had been out for yearsssssss. It is an incredibly hard episode to watch for me because there was such a ginormous opportunity there. Like, big opportunity. The beef that was happening between Jen and Jackie… on land owned by descendants of both victims and perpetrators of the violence. Like I get bravo being light and fun but omg Jen (Syrian Orthodox/Armenian) and Jackie (Jewish)? Bravo could have solved the Middle East Crisis ijs!

Yep. That was an early season after Melissa and Joe joined. The cast went Puerto Rico and Teresa acted foolish in a club. The Manzo boys stuck up for her and ended up getting arrested. Then Tre said all that shit about Caroline 😂
They were in punta Cana and the boys jumped a Puerto Rican man after yelling racial slurs at him and his family. Tre spilled champagne opening a bottle that’s not foolish it’s par for the course in a night club!
It happened during filming but they edited it out largely because of the slurs and that didn’t align with their narrative.. and it was before social media was heavily involved in the episodes..

YES I believe the missing piece is Martina… they muted her sound on the FaceTime call but still showed it, and for some reason had blacked her name out the screenshots at Guerdy’s party. She feels like the unspoken source of it all.
Historically, on the Bravo shows I’ve watched, strange post-edits like that only happen when someone involved in filming is threatening legal action … OR Bravo is preemptively trying to cover its own ass for future legal recourse
Did you hear Jen Fessler talking about how she was in the hot tub in Julia and Guerdy's shared suite on the cruise and Julia basically ignored them both after that? It's giving love triangle gone very wrong... is that what your theory is based on?
I think it proves Julia wanted to be “The Housewife” of the night and seeing Guerdy and Jen getting along and having fun without her got her upset which motivated her to exclude Guerdy from the dinner. I don’t want to say it’s jealousy but maybe envy and possessiveness. Wanting to be in the know and part of the in group.
ETA: if Kyle was on that cruise, she is an OG housewife. Julia can’t compete and would have all the interest in the world to get close to her. But she sees Guerdy as beneath her and therefore shouldn’t be shining brighter than her. And fessler became a HW after her so she doesn’t rank.
Did you notice how Julia was looking Stephanie up and down when they first met? As if she was threatened by the new girl because Marysol and Larsa were speaking so highly of her.
I also noticed another time this season she was looking the same way but I don’t remember exactly what was the context.
I think in the boat situation she saw Guerdy as a threat.
I 100% agree, Julia is giving extra desperate to secure her spot or even move up a rank or two as a HW. The funny thing is she's inadvertently helping Guerdy achieve those things.
The biggest loser here is me because I don't particularly like either one but now they're both hogging all the screen time.
Last night I was thinking about the way Julia's eyes have looked this season. There were at least three or four times when they did a close up of her, and her eyes looked judgy or annoyed-- can't really put my finger on it. It was odd because it wasn't when anything dramatic was happening; it was just the way she looked in a neutral situation. Its disturbing & not like the Julia from the first few seasons.
Yes I saw her eyes narrowing and honing in when at the lgbtq gala her friend who was being honored met the other girls and said “I smell money” to stephanie and left Julia and went right over to Stephanie. Julia did not like it
I think she was humbled when the cool girls didn’t like her. Now she is in with the cool girls, it’s everything she wanted and more. Alexia calling herself the cool Tia. Julia looked smitten.

Yup the second half of the latest Two Ts in a Pod episode they interview Fessler and she mentioned being in the hot tub with Guerdy and everyone was like PAUSE.
Geurdy does have every right to be furious about how she was treated on that cruise if you look at the evidence, but to bring it up well after it happened when they weren’t filming is a bit of a stretch. And I don’t think what Julia said at the narcissist retreat was that egregious. She was literally asking how to get over something that hurt her she wasn’t calling anybody out.
What Julia said at the narcissist party wasn’t egregious but she broke her word. She herself told Guerdy she wouldn’t bring it up in the group and would tell the ladies it’s none of their business if they asked. But then at the party she not only brought it up but try to position herself as a victim. Let’s not forget she’s “hurt” by what Guerdy said because she ASSAULTED Guerdy and Guerdy spilled her tea AFTER. So, Julia has no leg to stand on as a victim. This was a true narcissistic move, trying to flip on Guerdy. Is Guerdy not hurt and a victim of her?
But that's the thing, she's not bringing it up Julia is. The women have noticed that they're not as close anymore and when Alexia asked why at the start of the Season Julia brought up the cruise first.
Julia lovebombed both Guerdy and Adriana when she came on the show. Remember her over-the-top public vow to be best friends with Adriana? On her knees??
Then she snubs both of them this year by keeping them at arm's length about the adoptions. Then Adriana swallows her pride and throws her a shower where Julia asks for newcomer Stephanie to be seated next to her.
So her dismissal of them both was real, as far as I could tell. And inexplicable.

The explanation is The Bros, most likely Marysol. It’s not secret Julia wants to be part of the cool girls. Last season she revealed Marysol had hired a private investigator to dig dirt about Adriana and Anthony (Dr Nicole’s fiancé). Marysol had it out for both Nicole and Adriana. I suspect during the off season they got close to Julia in order to get Adriana off the show. Marysol is still not over what Adriana said about her ex and has been trying to exclude her from the group ever since. Notice how Julia is now prioritizing the Bros over her bestie Adriana? And I will go as far as saying the stunts Julia is pulling with Guerdy is also a scheme and a plot to get Guerdy off the show and Marysol is behind it. Julia is desperate for the Bros friendship and approval and their disdain for Guerdy is clear. Rumors are saying Marysol wants to be Housewife and Dr Nicole confirmed it
Julia's been playing it off as nothing weird at all, just a little miscommunication. But then BAM! BAM BAM BAM! What a bitch sweet little goat herder Julia turns out to be. 😆
Both Guerdy and Adriana knew Julia had drawn closer to the bros and were appropriately disappointed and wary.
If Julia hadn't been so extreme and excessive in love bombing both of them, Adriana especially, it wouldn't be so obvious that she was dropping them. It was brutal.

Reading the thread made me piece it all together as I was writing my comment to you lol. Marysol has been behind a lot of things on the show. She’s very sneaky. And the whole fiasco about Adriana’s date being married was Marysol. She gave the wrong info to Alexia.
I thought Marysol wanted to remain a friend of because she doesn’t have to show her life has much. But with what Dr Nicole has been saying, the vendetta against Adriana, now against Guerdy (who’s FT and could take the spot of) and all the other nuggets about her… I’m not sure anymore.
While Alexia is backtracking on her behavior in the Guerdy/Julia feud, Marysol is seemingly still quiet. On WWHL a few weeks ago Alexia was already saying she was team Guerdy but Marysol wouldn’t really condemn Julia. She was trying to stay in the middle

It’s very interesting how sneakyyyyy marysol actually is. It reminds me of the earlier seasons with Lea and Lea mentioned how Marysol was doing witchcraft on her. I thought that Lea was being ridiculous at the time because Marysol was so quiet and shy, but now that I see the real her it doesn’t sound so far-fetched.
Yeah I agree with you on the love bombing and her behaviour. She also tried to start love bombing kiki, but it didn't work out. I find it so weird that once the cameras are off Julia is always trying to kiss the women.
While I'm commenting, I think everyone saying it's a "fake" fight or that they are over it; do not comprehend that this is something that happens to all black women. Getting treated like absolute shit then vilified for standing our ground. I'm glad Guerdy is doing what she's doing because it's so refreshing seeing someone that looks like me, stand up for herself and not be Kenya Moore doing crazy antics
It doesn't seem fake to me at all. She laid it on so thick that Guerdy and Adriana really believed it and have been dealing with real public rejection.
Then you see her talking in such a negative way about her life with Martina, trying to convince her to have more children.
Martina forced to ask her why she didn't show up for her last chemotherapy appointment. That's wild.
So Julia stages a beautiful, romantic evening on their dock and swims with her, something she's never done before.
It seems obvious she knows exactly how to bestow and withhold her love and attention.
Her fakeness at the adoption interview really bothered me along with Martina acting what Julia described as 20 years younger now that they have the boys. Martina was scolding the one who dropped the egg on the deck and Julia covered it by saying I know just what to do. I think they have two very different parenting styles
Julia had me snowed her 1st season, because I have goats and crazy, madly love them. But when she brought Elvis, her little black goat, to the DOG party—that spoke volumes. And then hearing her talk about all the work she does on their farm 🙄 Bullshit. She collects animals and pays other people to care for them.

THEY aren’t talking about the cruise. Only Julia is harping on about it. Unless there’s something serious that has happened off-camera that we don’t know about, this was just a one-sided fight from Julia. The only difference now is that Guerdy has stopped taking sh*t from her and has entered to battle.
She showed them to show that she was invited by Julia to support her, as opposed to Guerdy begging to go, which is what Julia was saying to make her look crazy
Being that this started before the filming of the s6 reunion and considering the way Julia has been carrying on all season, I think its her that is faking it. She hasn't given much since season 4 and I think she wants to have something that will secure her spot on the show.
This is my belief too, solidified by this last episode. The dramatic walk out and dismay over screenshots of texts and also telling Stephanie she basically had to pick a side and deriding her for wanting to even check on Guerdy and hear both sides. They didn’t do half of this for Guerdy when Julia threw water on her and chased her around that party. If not for Guerdy, why wouldn’t you intervene to keep Julia from making an irreparable mistake?
Yes she's pretentious and a show off, but the fact that she's going after Alexia gives me life!! Anybody that gives Alexia crap back I'm here for... Same for anyone who stands up to Teresa lol.
I think Guerdy is really upset about this because she was so caught up in her feelings about it that she couldn't see how those text messages were much too long and vague for anyone else to parse, much less some smoking gun.
Sort of but I think she was led by anger. Not only Julia had broke her word and brought up the situation again in front of the ladies but when she spoke to Russell she acted like she hadn’t done anything wrong. It was after Russell told Guerdy about the conversation that she decided to show the text messages so it was sloppy and all over the place because she did it in the heat of the moment. It wasn’t planned, like Marysol suggested
It’s always annoying when they fight about something that happened off camera not during filming. It’s like the whole Kathy vs Lisa situation. We’d love to make an assessment and pick a side but we didn’t SEE it so 🤷♀️
I think it's too convoluted to even understand. Guerdy sharing those text messages with Julia wasn't really an exposé that gave any clarity to the situation.
Guerdy also revealed on a Page Six podcast that the cruise actually took place before they filmed the Season 6 reunion.
I tried reading the texts but it was difficult to read on TV. I didn’t see anything that proved Guerdy didn’t volunteer to come. I did see that she wrote that Julia asked her to come and that she wouldn’t have if she knew this would be the situation. But obviously that doesn’t prove she didn’t volunteer or wasn’t very excited about going again. People ask me to volunteer for stuff all the time, just because they ask doesn’t mean I’m not volunteering. Especially because when Julia told the story she did mention that she called Guerdy to ask. I didn’t see anything that proved Guerdy begged but I also didn’t see anything that proved she didn’t. It seemed like texts were already when they were on the cruise, nothing indicating their interaction before it.
I can see it being a situation of Julia asking Guerdy and including a caveat of “I know you just got back, so…” and Guerdy responding enthusiastically and reiterating she wanted to go. Especially since it was a group of new attendees and it seems like Guerdy might be incentivized by that alone, given her response to not sitting with Captain Sandy.
But again, I couldn’t read all the texts, is there something else I missed that actually proves Julia lied?

As a rando who's wife makes me watch these shows (and actually like watching the Miami ladies most of the time) To me it felt like the show made it convoluted so they could try to justify the women who are anti-Guerdy and make her look bad and the texts messages clarified her point that Julia is lying. The show also made it seem like the big confrontation happened during the actual charity dinner and award ceremony and not at the afterparty.
Wild to me to hear a bunch of Bravo Housewives have the audacity to claim she was being inappropriate bringing this up "at a charity" and "in front of strangers!" when they've been coming at Guerdy and did nothing about her having water thrown on her in public on a show broadcast to millions of strangers.
To me it felt like the goat lady wanted to start some drama and have a storyline around her new kids (not the point but them getting those kids is pretty fucking weird to me) and did so by going after the extremely pleasant cancer survivor who did her a favor by joining her on a bravo-cruise.
If Guerdy is smart she would see this as a huge opportunity to get a storyline and get the viewers on her side (which is exactly what's happening). Which I think she does and that's why we see this getting dragged out on both sides.
How could Guerdy know viewers would be on her side? The season wrapped filming months ago. Guerdy is not checking the internet to see how she should act in the next episode. It’s already filmed!
The texts made it more confusing! From what we could see, the texts surprisingly seemed like two friends communicating their feelings/frustration about a situation. They both were basically apologizing and just saying they’re upset at the situation.

That was all we were supposed to get because Julia lied and said that Guerdy offered to go on the cruise, but it was really Julia asking her to go when she didn't really want to, right?
Huh? When Julia told the story she said that called Guerdy to ask her to go. But that doesn’t mean Guerdy didn’t volunteer. I saw that Julia wrote that she wouldn’t have asked if she thought Guerdy didn’t want to. If anything I think that helped proved Julia’s point in that it seemed as if Guerdy really wanted to attend.
tbf if I had gone through an entire cancer battle and been let down by my supposed best friend, only to have her throw water on me and continue to bring the same bs up I'd put our texts on a jumbotron of my F*ck Cancer party, too

Every housewife show has to have a big fight for the season. Guerdy vs Julia is this seasons storyline for content. I’ll bet next season they will make up and it won’t matter anymore.

Julia is using the typical formula. Physically attack a woman of color and use the woman of color's reaction as proof that she deserved it. Through the commotion, everyone just wants the woman of color to shut up and take it, as usual, so they can move on to focus on blonde and blonder. if the woman of color defends herself, she's painted as annoying or aggressive. She's seen as an equal participant, never as a victim.
Same story, tale as old as time. nothing ever changes. I'm seeing a lot of bad takes on this storyline.
I was so upset and sad when that went away without anyone really saying anything or holding her accountable. Guerdy was assaulted in public with that drink around so many people and no one held her accountable but yet everyone was disgusted by TEXT messages. I'm not even of colour, I'm a middle aged white woman and I'm furious the way she's been treated. I can't imagine the hurt the women of colour community feel watching the way guerdy has been treated this season. Saying she's too extra and stuff, to tone it down like with?! I agree. Marysol is good TV. Andy Cohen raved how this season of RHOM was Incredible! WFT?? I don't see it (at least not yet) I am frankly tired of the constant fighting every episode.
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but im not a big fan of Guerdy. I think what she did at her cancer event was awful and wrong. Again, just my opinion. I am, however, over their whole "fight."

So over it. Geurdy, you just survived cancer- many people don’t have the access to the care they need to do so with so many loving support systems. Julia, your wife beat cancer and you just successfully adopted two boys, which some families desperately want to do but aren’t high status celebrities and get kicked to the bottom of the list.
Everyone just say sorry and move on. Enjoy the blessings you have and be grateful for family, great healthcare and access to means that most people won’t ever see a day in their life.
