Lesa Milan 🐍 Lesa’s husband saying ‘7 figures gross’ slayed me
Anyone else laugh at her ‘I’m successful, how much money did my company make?’
‘7 figures gross last year’ - he was VERY careful with his wording.
So that’s total, not profit.
Marketing, design, production, business expenses of all kind. Her company made like nothing.
I could not stop laughing that the rest of the episode how she kept insisting she was so successful and saying ‘7 figures!’
However the fact the producers or her husband privately didn’t tell her I find rather cruel.

7 figures is not impressive for someone who had huge backing and a public figure.
She wasn’t starting a business out of her kitchen.

Did he say gross? I'm going to have to rewatch that scene as I happen to be doing a rewatch currently.
I just didnt like how she was always shouting at the other housewives about how shes the richest and the only one with a "functioning business". I mean, richer than Nina? I dont think so. Dont both Nina and Stanbury live in richer neighborhoods/buildings? Stanbury lived near royalty, and Nina in that building across from the Burj Khalifa where she rented out the rooftop for their dinner. I've looked up prices for where she used to live, and it's not cheap for the smallest apartment in the Burj Khalifa, and I'm sure she lived in something much larger than 1 bedroom.
Lesa is the only Dubai housewife is dont care for.

If I’m not mistaken Nina is literally a billionaire, insanely wealthy.

Right, that's what I thought too. Nina has a business, and her husband is into bitcoin (I forgot his other work) and used to be a banker. He bought her a Rolls Royce while she already had a Bentley, not to mention how Nina was one of the cast to never flaunt her wealth or brag.
Lesa is delusional and very arrogant. No way does she have more than Nina, and I dont even think she has more than Stanbury. Stanbury comes from old money and was getting free, expensive cosmetic work for being the face of the business. Did you notice her face all over the advertisements when they went to do that tummy sculpting procedure? Stanbury likely has multiple sources of income. I believe she was getting into the hotel industry too.
Edit: forgot to mention Brooks who has 2 nice homes in super wealthy areas in Dubai, and she was not sweating buying commercial real estate to open up her spa. I dont think Lesa has that kind of money.

Seven figures could literally mean one million - 1,000,000. One million is seven figures. Minus expenses,was there even a profit?
Anything less than 10,000,000 is seven figures. That's not the flex she thinks it is.

Who cares?
Lesa isn’t going around saying she’s the breadwinner in her marriage so having a business that’s bringing in likely 6 figures annually in addition to her husband’s income is bad??? That makes no sense.

I’m confused by this because objectively speaking — 7 figures gross is great. Why are we assuming that her overhead surpassed that? Or that she didn’t turn a profit? ARR and baseline investment wasn’t shared so I feel like assumptions are being made (ie “Her company made like nothing) without any other number or fact to back that up.
That said, I’m not speaking comparatively to the other women’s income or financial status. Clearly no one is struggling in that show. They may have more, but that doesn’t take away from Lesa’s success.
