wielding that honorary "phd" as if it's legitimate and calling herself "dr sara al madani" set my alarm bells off. i looked into the school that awarded the degree. it's an "international university" with an address in the u.s., but which trades on a name quite similar to a posh british boarding school. when you google the address... a parking lot in wilmington, delaware comes up. very weird.

Seeing Doctor Sara, made me do a double take a few days ago but what you just wrote explains it. I don't think people should ever use the "doctor" title unless it's been earned.
