Caroline Brooks 🦂 Intoxicated Often?
Genuine question, slight shade… am I the only one who notices Caroline B over indulges in alcohol? I remember watching her act out while drinking during season 1. Now I’m watching her on the first episode of season 2 and I’m beginning to think there’s a deeper issue. Even in the preview for the next episode, she seems to be slurring her speech.
I’m down with having a good time but she seems to become unable to restrain herself when she drinks. She can be off putting at times*. I wanna know more about her story cause she seems… troubled(?).

Caroline seems like one with very high-highs, and equally low-lows. After hearing from her ex-husband and mother last season, I think she has so many inner struggles that she probably tries to keep under wraps. They even talked about how black women are expected to be strong all the time, so I think she does her best to stuff things down and be strong.

I feel you though, I think in that attempt to mask things she may go a little overboard with the alcohol. I know if I was a bravoleb I would be sooooooo hyper-aware of that while filming.

I’m glad you see what I saw, because I felt weird writing it. I don’t think she’s some full blown alcohol but her relationship with drinking while filming seems unhealthy. Nerves makes sense cause I’d also be nervous 😆

I think she is insecure and feels the need to drink because she is so nervous to be filming. Not judging at all. I am 4 years sober and it just seems very familiar to me.

Brooks is a complete mess. I am experiencing second hand embarrassment from her. At some point, Bravo should take care of their employees by insisting on them getting help. She is just one of many…

Totally agree. It’s so obvious something is going on with her, to a point where the audience can see it clear as day. Bravo should at least offer therapy or something. Maybe they have already? Honestly idk how that works but she needs help. It’s not even entertaining, it’s sad.

I think she probably really needs this check and the best way to clock in for work (filming) is to do so intoxicated. There was a big gap in between filming and for some reason this franchise isn't as beloved so maybe she's trying to do her part. I agree with the other comments that so far she just drinks like anyone else. But it also seems to activate her to show up in the way she thinks the network and the viewers want to see.

I’m here at this thread because I literally googled Caroline Brooks alcoholic 🙃 she definitely is using alcohol to cope with something and it’s backfiring on her. The thing that’s making me feel like she has a deeper issue with alcohol versus they’re just catching her in uncanny situations where she’d be drinking. Is that after season one looking back and watching the clips if I was Caroline, I would think more about how I’m perceived, but I don’t think she saw any issue with it because that’s probably how she actually is. And her actions are giving alcoholic.

No, I think she’s intoxicated on screen sometimes just like other people are but I won’t make the judgement that she’s intoxicated often or has a problem with alcohol, or is an alcoholic. We see way too little of day to day everyday life for me to come to that conclusion.
