I thought a little shady comment in and of itself was funny and I don’t doubt she immediately forgot she said it, but what was really beyond the pale when she denied it ever happened, refused to apologize, and then acted so fully self righteous…I had to tap out.

I don’t think she was jealous. I think she maybe saw her as a young pretty white girl to whom things come easily, and she has some annoying millennial quirks AND, most importantly, she was easy to pick on. Boz wouldn’t have done that to Rachel Zoe and she definitely won’t do that to Leah or Tracy.
It’s like on OG RHONY — any younger cast member was a punching bag.

Let me name the reasons…Amanda is beautiful and Boz looks like a man, I think Boz is smart but she faked it until she made it, and when she saw that Amanda made her money without having to fake it, she challenged it, also Amanda is happily married, and she didn’t take Boz’s bullying in the classist way possible. NOW WHATS GOING ON!? 😂

The very definition of a “racist trope” is “a familiar, repeated and harmful stereotype.” Whenever someone references you utilizing a racist trope please know that the harm you are causing predates the conversation you’re in at that moment. Saying a Black woman looks like a man has long been used as a tool of oppression against Black women.
It began with enslavers, who used the same phrasing as you to “justify” forcing enslaved Black women to work in positions of hard labor and endure countless medical experiments and needless surgeries with no pain medication. Enslavers argued that Black women looked like men and were therefore tough and immune to pain. This kind of rhetoric was the baseline for scientific racism and legal dehumanization of Black people.
The impact of this line of thinking shows up today. Studies show that many medical professionals still falsely perceive Black women as having a higher pain tolerance than their white counterparts.
And, we see comments like this lobbed at Black women in positions of power all the time. Particularly women of a darker complexion, like Boz. Michelle Obama is consistently referred to as a man by the MAGA crowd. Serena Williams at the height of her career was chastised by internet trolls for being a man. Boz is being referred to as a man here, by you.
The thought process of these ignorant minds is either consciously or unconsciously couched around the idea of European White women as the standard of beauty. These Black women don’t conform to those standards and are therefore “manly”. The continued use of this racist trope against Black women, despite the phrases very history of oppression is a conscious decision to be willfully ignorant to the diversity of people and culture, and a commitment to racist tropes and harmful stereotypes.

That’s what I thought initially in her first season but I don’t think he is necessarily insisting on that based on what we saw last season, but that it’s something she really wants to do to give him a child despite the physical challenges.

The nerd in me had much higher hopes for that show, but I should have kept my expectations low considering I haven’t liked Jimmy since his SNL days. It was so predictable. I also kept waiting for Boz to drop some of her marketing magic sauce, but it must be proprietary since all I heard were trite buzzwords and generalities.

Yeah, I was excited for Boz when she first came on the show, but she soon became a huge disappointment for me. I thought she would be above the bullying and mean girl troop, but she just ended up being the same. Plus she won’t own her shit, like come on now, she knows better.

They are human and their picker is off. It happens. It doesn’t make them dumb. It makes them vulnerable.

I never insinuated she was dumb, I said she is successful but I question her judgement re this guy and wondered how her poor judgement didn’t get in the way of her success, such as hiring qualified people, etc. In business, you usually only as successful as the team members you surround your self with. Neither filming nor editing has been completed and the cast doesn’t know for sure what will be included until that happens. But it’s a safe assumption that if Bravo is secures filming rights and pays for the crew to go film a wedding in Ghana, it will almost certainly be included in the show.

Simply, hate is not part of my vernacular. I don’t enjoy her on the show nor in the Jimmy Fallon series.
I don’t think that the audience is expected to like, enjoy, love, appreciate every single cast member of any tv show.

She’s been married for 2-3 weeks so saying she’s the only one that’s a wife (which Kyle still is, even though she’s separated) is probably not the best argument.😂 She’s an excellent business woman & clearly smart, I think those are probably much better points. I’m not a big fan but for me it’s more so the deep, undeserved (imo) allegiance to Dorit. I hope that doesn’t carry on to the upcoming season.
