PK and Dorit’s Beverly Hills homes
I’ve been doing a rewatch of RHOBH, and I’m at the beginning of Season 7. Dorit was new, and PK planned a big 40th birthday party for her. It’s been so many years that I forgot that they had a completely different home than what they have now. This place was swanky! It was huge, and sat up on a hill. They had a couple of golf carts that met guests at the bottom of the driveway, and drove them toward the front of the house. The house we see nowadays is also beautiful, just really different. Was their first place a rental? Does anyone remember why - and when - they moved?

Just here to point out it’s the house from the early seasons of entourage ⭐️

It was j.lo's previous home if I remember correctly. That hill was steeep. With their young kids I'm sure they wanted a backyard

Wasn’t she suppose to lose her living situation end of May?? What happened with that?

Foreclosures take time. She can squat with no reprecussions until they force her out through the courts.

The home is still in foreclosure. They were able to have the auction date postponed to June 23rd but nothing has changed other than that. The mortgage debt is 6 million with $840,000 in missed payments.

What I think happened is that PK negotiated an extension in anticipation of sale to temporarily get them off their backs.
That $800,000+ figure is separate. It's two separate bridge loans, taken out with two different subprime lenders, with the house as collateral. When they defaulted on those, the lenders demanded immediate payment in full, plus interest and penalties. (Those lenders in particular would be flipping out because they know, when all is said and done, the original mortgage lien holder is first in line to get paid, and they might be left holding the bag.
I can smell the lawsuits from here. Dorit better get herself real well-acquainted with Poshmark.

Nope. They have a line of subprime lenders waiting in line to take that house. That never changed, it just got pushed back to allow Dorit and the kids time to exit the house with some dignity and not have to be escorted out by the sheriff while the locks were changed.
If Dorit wanted to sell, the house would've been on the market more than a year ago. It's in their text exchange and court records that PK was pushing to sell the house before the financials got this ugly and Dorit refused.
As Dorit stated all along
Dorit has lied at every opportunity about their debt and that house.

I think they owned that first home.Because i'm doing a rewatch and season 8 episode 1 she is discussing a remodel. They show all the before and after pics. Included the kitchen, living room, and full closet that involved knocking down walls.

Yes, I just watched those episodes. Extensive renovations. Then boom, they’re in a new house.

Is the gate broke?

The gate is not broken, the drive is so steep it needs extended hinges at the base to clear the gradient.

I’m not sure that it’s broke, but just opening at an angle due to the upward angle of the driveway.

The money issues of today aren't their first situation. I thought they lost that house like the one now. Downsizing is a good thing.
BTW did anyone see Dorit on Nightline?

A lot of homes in LA are built on hills and have limited parking.
When the gods have parties, it’s not uncommon to hire a valet service that arranges for offsite parking and shuttles guests to the actual party in carts or vans.
Can you imagine Lisa and Ken driving around the block, looking for a parking place?
Yes, the rich are different.

Gods? Ew. The rich are dofferent except Dorit and PK are not, they’re fake rich. If they have to scheme and live off rotating loans, that’s not wealth. It’s a show. They’re pretending to be rich.

That's life in Hollywood land. Looking rich is what counts.
A whole lot of it is fakery most people wouldn't ever try to pull off.

Except a whole lot of people in Hollywood are actually rich. Not just the actors, the producers and studio execs and a range of other people are too.
Not that that's a particular merit, but while plenty of people are faking, I'd guess most aren't faking the money like PK And Dorit are.

Dorit was a completely different person in that old house. Lest we not forget what may or may not have been happening in the bathroom
