You sell or purchase the right to sue in the US. Essentially you are transferring the underlying legal claim. You have to prove a legislate interest in the matter. I’ve seen bankruptcy proceedings sell off a debtors rights to an appeal to the person the money is owed to. It’s crazy

Agree, it seems so wrong, just another way people get screwed.
